We enjoyed a two night stay in Milan after taking the Bernina Express into northern Italy. This hotel is located directly across the street from the train station which was perfect as we both arrived and departed by train. The building itself is very old but the interior is what I would describe as outdated modern. The service and facilities are 5 star but the rooms and common areas are somewhat outdated. However the rooms are large with simple sleek bathrooms and extremely comfortable beds which is our number one priority when traveling. The breakfast was outstanding and was probably the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. It even tops the St. Regis in Florence which is a higher end property. Between the impeccable service, self serve juicer and incredible spread it was really impressive and a relaxing way to spend a leisurely Christmas morning. While we enjoyed our stay it should be noted that this hotel is not located in the tourist area. We took advantage of the house car to drop us off but ended up walking or using (very expensive) taxis for most of our trip. Overall as Marriott platinum members this was a good value for us in terms of price and perks and the location at the train station worked well for our needs. …
Stunning rooms, fantastic views from the rooftop bar and very comfortable rooms. They have the largest bathroom and dressing area. Coffee and fresh pastries are located at the coffee bar inside the hotel.
Wonderful hotel from the first moment you enter. Excellent reception and rooms that are beautifully finished. Really feels like luxury. Fitness center and pool well appointed. Food in the upstairs restaurant and bar is amazing with great views of the station plaza. A little away from the center of Milan but if your lucky you can take one of the Maserati's into the center. Stayed with Amex upgrades and got $150 in dining and drinks. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Milan. Part of the Marriott group.
This 5 star hotel is conviniently located close to Milano Centrale and it offers a cost free Maserati service to the city (we advise to book the car service in advance). The hotel is really beautiful. Nice room, spacious bathroom with excellent Troussardi ammenities.
Love it, from the entry, to cigar bar with lovely Rossini cocktail and shaphran liquer, lobby afternoon tea time observing Central Stacione square, to the stuff in a hotel and spa and romantic rooftop restaurant. Its just out of time and business of the street outside of the hotel, magic.
