I just came back from Italy, I spent 4 days in this hotel in Udine .. At first glance , its okay, nothing special as a 3* hotel, receptionists are nice , not so clean. But the rooms.. OMG!!!! I was completely terrified ! The windows ( as you can see on the photos) are not cleaned from 5th century BCE , I dont know why, they do not vacuum clean the room at all , and the rooms as well as the blanket smelt bad 🤢 I had to spent these days in this hotel because I had not got any choice! The parking place was so so small and I even scratched my car while parking in n out. The rooms every day were cleaned a bit of course as the toilets because they were the only thing in the room that was cleaned. The sheets were changed every two days( THANKS GOD). Breakfast, 0 choice. I ate two croissants every day for breakfast,I think I turned into one. What was good? The staff. They were really nice and helpful, but I think the hotel needs renovation and cleaning. Thats it. Good luck :)…
The hotel’s decor is dated but our room was clean and surprisingly quiet for somewhere so central. The receptionist was very helpful. However, we cannot recommend the breakfast - the coffee was undrinkable and the selection available poor. Better get your coffee and pastry at the bus station.
We travelled by car from Treviso We had stayed elsewhere in Udine previously and I wanted to try somewhere different. Conveniently located by the bus station and a short walk from the railway station Cristello offered this. Very easy to find and also had underground parking for €5 a night. We arrived relatively early and check in was a breeze. The room was a good size beds (mattresses) could have been firmer but all in all it was very good. Now the bathroom stood out it had a modern walking shower with decent power. It was very quiet indeed overnight and after a good sleep breakfast. There was a good selection of continental breakfast to be had and it set us up for the day before our road trip to Slovenia.
In Udine for a friends wedding. The hotel hosted most of the family members and friends coming in from far and wide. The rooms were neat and clean...always my priority! The shower didn't quite work but for two nights I made do. Breakfast was rather poor, no proper tea, some ham and some bread. Maybe if I'm back in Udine ill try some other place.
Our 'triple' room was actually two large connected rooms, each with their own bathrooms. The interior decoration is a bit dated in style - think early 1980s - but all in perfect condition and with new bathroom fittings. The room was very clean and quiet. The receptionist was helpful in suggesting places to eat. One warning with the parking: Even with a normal family sedan it was a tight squeeze in the car Park!
This hotel located just a minute walk from main station and in the nearby the have so many pizza and kebabs small restaurant. To walk to the castle also just 10 minute trough Udine old town and markets. The hotel is clean and the room is very simple furnished with chair n small tv (which I don't need since only Italian channels) the staff are very friendly and breakfast is good Italian brioche n cappuccino from the machine in the corner.
Decent hotel good clean rooms decent bathrooms with all ameneties ... very friendly staff breakfast could be a tad better .. nice location centre of the city lots of restaurants and things to do around
Hotel location was excellent to me, it is very close to train station (5 minutes walking) nice view just in front of the square. close to bus station. clean room and bathroom. I liked the experience. I;m just not sure whether the AC working or not I didn't need it anyway.
It is a 3 star hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. Rooms simple, but we stayed in room 27,double room and a very nice remodelled bathroom. Great shower. Breakfast is good but I would have liked to see more fresh fruit in place of all the cereals. And was included.about three quarter of a kilometre to main piazza (Libertarian) along Via Aquileia. Very shot walk to central train station and bus station , also have to say slept well on a good mattress.
I stayed there for training at Daneili Automation. The hotel is recommended by them at full rateof90 euro. They later settled for 72 Euro. Wifi was made free on request though on the 4th,5th and 6 th floor, it wasn't usable. Check in was swift. We checked in and out many times during our 20 day stay. But billing etc did not raise any hassles. Morning breakfast is excellent. Housekeeping is impeccable. Nearby you can get many restaurants and kebab and pizza centres. A hot kettle in the room would be highly appreciated. Overall a good experience and value for money. Pros: 1) Location is very good. At the corner of the road crossing, nearby to the Udine railway station and bus stop. 2) Cleanliness. 3) Good breakfast. 4) An excellent view from the balcony. Cons: 1) Very small sized cot. Almost childish. 2) Very small bath area. 3) Bed linens and blankets are of poor standard. 4) No electric kettle in the room. 5) Almost no wifi (except lower floors).…
