I have just returned home from a 7 night stay in the Baltic Hotel in Rimini Italy. 3 couples from Ireland we have been to the Baltic on 3,4,and 5 occasions respectively. The reason we chose the Baltic in the first place is that one of the couples had their honeymoon there Forty (ish) years ago. This is family hotel run by husband and wife team Corrado and Lorella. Corrado is larger than life with an engaging and welcoming personality. Lorella is more behind the scenes but equally friendly and approachable. This is officially a 3 Star hotel but I rate it as a 5 Star because of the relaxing friendly atmosphere and the pure Italian experience. The star of the show is Corrado. Corrado is a proud Italian who tries to give his guests an authentic Italian experience. As the vast majority of guests are Italian the food is deliciously Italian all the way. Food at The Baltic is Full Board. Breakfast is buffet with a good selection of bread, croissants, cakes, cold meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, cereals and of course tea and coffee. Lunch and Dinner are 3 course pre-ordered on the previous day(a selection of 3 or 4 choices, tick the box for your favourite) Wine is free at Lunch and Dinner. ( hic.) The Hotel is small, the rooms are small (Corrado says cozy). Even the lift is tiny. Everything is spotlessly clean and the staff throughout are really friendly and helpful. Just so you know there is no swimming pool, no gym, no spa, no games room. But included in the price is your own personal bed and umbrella on the beach for the week. The beach is minutes away. Corrado speaks very good English and loves to chat he has a great sense of humour and a good knowledge of local and international affairs. After dinner join him at bar for a coffee or something stronger,(or my favourite something stronger in the coffee) Get him started on Italian culture and history.Whenever he speaks in English he translates to the Italian listeners or vice versa Italian to English. It’s great fun. He told me that at least 80% of his guests are repeat customers. The Baltic Hotel will give you a warm feeling of being in a home from home with people who care about your holiday experience. Just go there and relax into this friendly Italian environment. Thank you Corrado and Lorella see you next time.…
Just back from yet another great week with Corrado and Lorella in the Baltic Hotel. We spent our honeymoon in this hotel 48 years ago when it was owned and run by Lorella"s beautiful parents. We have been back several times since and with Lorella and Corrado and their two daughters, Althea and Viola continuing the great traditions from her parents everything is still fantastic. The food is excellent, the hotel is spotless and the staff is excellent. Lena cooks the best Romagna dishes every day. Thank you all again for for a fantastic week of fun and great hospitality. We'll be back.
My girlfriend and I were driving to Greece and decided to spend 2 nights in Rimini. After spending a night in a pleasant but inferior dwelling, we decided to check the Internet for the number 1. Right at the top, sitting on its throne of Excellence, we found the Baltic Hotel. The reception was glowing with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the hallways were brimming with a glowing ambience. Corrado and Lorella welcomed us in as part of the family. We dream of returning back to the Baltic Hotel. Perhaps for our honeymoon. Always in our hearts, Costas and Livia
A Big Thank You to Corado, Lorella and all the staff from Hotel Baltic for making our holiday in Rimini unforgetable. It was a great pleasure to be there for one week and meet all the lovely staff members which make a wonerful team together. We were blessed to get such excellent conditions starting from food services and excellent cleaning. From the minute we entered the doors at hotel Baltic we felt a welcoming, friendly, home-likely message from Corado and Lorella. Well Done for all your personal and gentle input in everything you do. We will definetely visit you again and highly reccomend your services to other people who are looking for a happy, calm and relaxing place for their holiday. Best regards, Sergiu, Maria and Elizabeth
We had to look for an accomodation last minute in Rimini since our plans did not work out. The owner of the hotel was very helpful in every aspect and offered us a very nice room for a very fair price. Insured parking was offered for 5€ per day, which is very reasonable. The room had a balcony and cleaning service in the morning was very fast. (Went down for breakfast and after we came back the room was as good as new every day). Reception was very helpful and informative as well (unfortunately barely english speaking skills). All in all, totally recommend the hotel for a stay in Rimini!
