About
Description
Conceived by interior designer and owner Stefania Grippo, PiazzadiSpagna9 doesn't just have the look and feel of a contemporary art gallery, it actually is one. All the cutting-edge furniture and the art on the More walls is for sale. Each of the rooms is individually decorated, which feature queensize steel four-poster or upholstered platform beds topped with crisp white cotton sheets from Tuscany. Every room has high ceiling, an artfully designed console table or desk, lounge chairs and copious closet space. Most of the big, modern bathrooms come with glassed-in showers, and all rooms have large windows (some with French doors that open onto small step-out balconies). There's also a flat-screen TV, laptop safe and a Nespresso coffee machine in each room. In the exclusive lounge overlooking Spanish Steps is featured the complimentary continental breakfast offering a mix of fresh fruit, flaky pastries, cereal, yogurt, salami, cheese, plus coffee, tea and a selection of juices. At night the special selected Aperitivi is served along with Italian stuzzichini finger food. There's also a small by-appointment-only Turkish-style spa, with a stone massage table, like one you'd find in a hammam, plus a steam room and a whirlpool soaking tub. Less

Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields
to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most
desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best
place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and
Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with
enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s
best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a
fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to

I have stayed with my wife and my parents-in-law at Piazza di Spagna 9, an amazing little hotel packed with art and design, located very close to Piazza di Spagna, at a quiet corner. Fine taste in the furniture, in the books and magazines at the library, in the snacks offered. Gr

We have stayed in this area last few times in Rome but this was our first time in this hotel. Overall it's a good hotel very well located. Rooms are on the small size but make good use of space with a small balcony. Given the price for the room, it was ridiculous that they charge

What a beautiful place. Genuinely lovely setting with a fantastic view of Piazza di Spagna. A tranquil and peaceful hotel combined with the unusual feature of also being an art gallery (for guests only I think) and with beautiful pieces on display. Literally a few seconds away fr

This “secret art gallery” which is located on the 3 floor of a private building is located in one of the best places to stay in Rome. Overlooking the Piazza with rooms decorated in art. The stuff is super friendly, the lady owner is charming and you can also purchase the art exhi

Hello, I see you that check in must occur before 11pm, but our flight does not land in Rome until 1030pm. What if we do not arrive until after 11pm?
Hi lscruz18, We had the same issue in the fall. Stefania, the hotel manager, arranged for us to have a check-in closer to midnight and it was no problem at all! A very nice hotel employee was there to greet us and give us a quick orientation of the property. Just email Stefania directly and she will help you out. I hope you have a great time in Rome!
