The smallest hotel I have stayed in during a City break. Minimalistic reception, a tiny breakfast area, but exceptionally service minded staff and rooms of decent size. The AC was quiet and cooling, bathroom was spacious, but it was lacking a “way out” for the escaping water from the shower. A bit of a nuisance if you, like me, are a bit sloppy while showering. Breakfast was minimalistic, but enough for a great start of the day. The staff was friendly, helpful and service minded. My only drawback was the lack of a fridge in the room. I just love to explore the wine, cheese and anti pasti, and prefer to have a fridge for the fresh food and maybe an occasional beer. It might sound as if I didn’t enjoy my stay. Couldn’t be more wrong, just wanted to provide some details that I find important. This will be my first choice for lodging going to Rome in the future. I just loved it, and so did the family. You might think twice if you travel with someone who physically impaired due to a few steep steps from the street.…
A family run hotel, in the heart of the tourist part of Rome. The location is its best feature - we did not need public transport to get to any of the attractions east of the Tiber. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, though we thought the bathroom was small and it would have helped if some toiletries were provided. There's a good and fairly undiscovered restaurant right opposite which was a hidden gem I'd recommend.…
I arrived mid-day yesterday. I thought it was a fluke when the guy who checked me in later stopped at my door to see if I'm ok since I was still in the room, but then today when I left briefly (DND sign on the door) and came back, my bed had been made. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned and the trash hadn't been taken out, but my luggage had been rearranged When I confronted the guy at the front who says he's the owner, he said, "Oh, you left, so I told the staff to ignore the sign." (Why didn't he ask me on my way out? I explained to him why this was a problem, and his response was to scream at me that he trust his employees, not me. "You are nobody!" he said, which doesn't really align with hospitality. Daniele and the other employees were extremely gracious, but this guy completely spoiled the experience. He wouldn't let me leave, but he wouldn't serve me or acknowledge me. The room had other problems. The floor was sticky and the bathroom flooded when the water was run. I don't really understand how a hotel like this has three stars, and I think people are extremely liberal with five-star reviews considering you can barely walk around the rooms. No frills, ok, but it was not clean.…
My daughter and I stayed at this wonderful hotel to celebrate her birthday. I can honestly say this is truly one of the nicest, friendliest efficient hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff were amazing and sorted any queries with pleasure and went the extra mile always to make our stay extra special. All guests are provided with a free mobile phone that allows unlimited internal and international calls for FREE with free unlimited WiFi too. As such we were able to use google maps when out and about for easy stress-free navigation. There were also online guides in the phone so we also learnt so much without having to pay for costly guided tours!! Rooms lovely, quiet, super clean and comfy and the staff were just fantastic!! They really made our stay and my daughters birthday extra special. Will DEFINITELY be back soon!!! Keep up the good work everyone - truly fantastic !!…
The hotel is small but very welcoming, quiet and with discreet and efficient staff. In the room there is free wi-fi, but also a courtesy smartphone that you can use around the city, internet and free calls. The breakfast seemed small but it was full of things: croissants, fresh bread, salami, strawberries, jam and coffee was great. i really enjoy the time that i spend here. …
