You can't beat this location - right around the corner is the Trevi Fountain. Also you can walk to all major attractions in the city - Colosseum, Vatican, Spanish Step, Pantheon and more. The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfast is hearty and has a large variety of items to choose from. It was not an issue for me, but I could see the elevator being a problem with someone who can't do stairs. The breakfast is on the 5th floor and the elevator is small (european). You may have to wait for awhile for it. Overall though, for the price you can't beat this place for all it offers. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay.…
The hotel and its adjacent accommodation are very tired and in desperate need of some TLC. The carpets are particularly worn and stained. The hotel is in a great location (next to the Trevi Fountain) and despite the crowds the noise levels from them are not a problem. What is a problem is the paper thin internal walls which means that everything can be heard from adjacent rooms, as well as the house keeping staff shouting at each other early in the morning. Essentially you’re paying for the location. The reception staff were very helpful though.…
Reception good, friendly, informative, and helpful. Our room a block away from reception had no outside markings and our room, 23, no number on door! Old 2 person elevator. Confusing unmarked doors. Weak A/C. Breakfast buffet was terrific. Room super clean and lots of space. Bed somewhat firm. Block from Trevi Fountain, 15 min walk to Pantheon and many good restaurants off the tourist path. Location the biggest asset. It's quirky but stay here for the people, breakfast, and location.…
Hotel is in a great location just around the corner from Trevi Fountain but also extremely busy around hotel because of this. Check in was ok room was decent size we were on ground floor behind reception. Room was next to elevator so a lot of noise but as we were out all day and tired didn’t worry about the noise. Breakfast was ok but you need to be early as only small room. Air conditioning is controlled by reception and this was very annoying as we found room quite hot and had to keep ringing. In the end I gave up the hotel needs to rethink this policy.. overall stay was ok…
We stayed at the Hotel Trevino in May for 5 nights and again in June for 3 nights. Our first room was in the laneway behind the main building and was large and spacious. The room opened onto a small courtyard. Our transfer to Citivecchia failed to arrive and the Concierge arranged on short notice a transfer seamlessly. The hotel is well positioned closely to the Trevi Fountain in the centre of Rome within easy walking distance to all major sites including the Spanish Steps, Patheon and Mausoleum of Augustus. The Colesseum is also relatively close. Behind the main building is a small fascinating archeologic site. Well positioned to great restaurants. Traditional European property, our second stay was in a smaller room but still comfortable and well equipped.…
