We booked The Forum Hotel as it was the closest to the gates of Pompie and expected an 'ok' hotel. Parking on arrival was a little complex as we didn't quite know where to go a day we had a huge pick up that didn't fit at the entrance, but the staff resolved this. It is so nice to walk through the arch into an oasis. The garden was STUNNING and the reception and bar are lovely, relaxed. But! What a welcome you get. I was blown away. You get a 5 star welcome and our dog Fellow, was spoiled. He had constant hugs and kisses by all the staff. The room, although not huge, was just lovely, well equipped and set out. Cosy bed and everything we needed. All of the staff without exception went out of there way to make sure we were looked after, and as for the position. STUNNING. We liked it so much we booked again 1 week later on our return. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Forum hotel while visiting Pompeii. Hotel is in a perfect location in the city centre just next to the Pompeii ruins. Very classy, lovely decor, super fresh, with the most amazing gardens. The staff very polite and helpful. Cannot fault it.

Stayed here on a Sunday night, communication was great with the team as was our welcome on arrival. On Sunday evening the main Street is shut due to everyone being out and dining on the street to our cab had to drop us 50m or so away from hotel which was no issue at all. The rooms were clean and all the covid protections have been taken so nothing to worry about here. THE BED was so comfy had an amazing sleep and breakfast covered all the bases so was happy with that We made the unfortunate mistake of not checking Pompeii ruins were open and since covid the ruins are shut on a Monday which was the only real reason we stayed here. If the ruined had be open you are located right near the amphitheatre entrance however the entrance you need for any tours is the other end so 1/1.5km wall which isn't far at all. Room talked of a mountain view and you can sort of see it if not blocked by some trees but I have added a picture so you can see yourself. This was taken from the balcony which was a great little spot to stand and people watch while my fiance got ready

We stayed here for one night pre-pandemic. The location was very good, the car parking was down the street a bit, at a different business across the street. Staff was friendly. The room was a bit on the small side but clean. The breakfast was very good. This is a good choice for visiting the ruins at Pompeii. Many places nearby to find food and drink.
