I loved the location, the mattress were super comfy, the room was medium size but got everything we needed in it. The check in online was pointless, I received an email to print it, I brought it to avoid wasting time (as the mail was saying) and I still needed to do the check in again. The receptionists weren't really friendly, didn't even greeted us when passing by or even enter the door, they were just talking to each other ignoring us. Not up to standard from an hotel like yours. Also I heard one of the receptionists asking to other costumers "did u leave the room clean?" I found that really rude! We rang the reception in the morning and they answered after 10 rings and they were by the phone when we went upstairs in our room. The breakfast was really weak, not much choice, I expected something more exciting. I paid less in another hotel on the seaside but their staff was amazing. I wanted to give a try with your hotel but next time will definitely go back to the other one. Not really a 4 star, sorry!

The hotel is on the beach front and has parking spaces around (maybe because of the Corona situation), but there is also a parking belonging to the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, although somewhat small. Very helpful staff and nice breakfast.

Overall, the hotel has a good location. However, it has problems. When we went to check in, the front of house said entered the room is “too small for you big people” and tried to upsell us a room. Which really is a shoddy tactic and could be quite offensive. The room was double rather than requested twin, this later was rectified. But still. I needed a private space to make a call, and they tired to charge me for a meeting room for 1 hour. Finally, I put my bags in the luggage room. The chap behind the desk said it was completely clean and sanitised and pointed to the seal on the door. I pointed out that seal was on that door for several days and had been broken previously. Indeed there was already someone sitting in the luggage room, so it could not be untouched unless he had come in through the window! Overall, really unnecessary. The staff and management need to learn that they are in hospitality not penny pinching.

Hotel Carlton is in an excellent location across the street from beach . The customer service was excellent and the breakfast was amazing . The train station is maybe 2 miles or less away and there are many cafes , restaurants in the area . You definitely don’t need a car . Highly recommend visiting the amazing city of Pescara .

We only stayed one night, as a break to a long car journey with kids, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, tidy and of good size. The breakfast was a standard buffet affair, well presented and with a good choice. Great location on the beach and close to lots of restaurants and take aways.
