I had hoped to spend at least four nights in Pamplona on this trip (my first visit to the city was in 2013 just prior to starting to walk the Camino de Santiago), but unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 outbreak I was forced to cut my trip short. Upon arrival to Yoldi Hotel I was greeted warmly and informed of the impending lockdown and was told exactly where I could buy food/provisions. Although there were only two other guests (both had been walking the Camino and were forced to return home), I was provided with a simple, yet ample breakfast that included fresh coffee, yogurt, bread, pastries, juice and fruit. After two nights here, with the help of the kind woman working at reception, I was able to secure a train back to Madrid followed by a flight back to the US. Although my time was cut short, I found the hotel to be exceptionally clean and comfortable (sizable room, comfortable bed, refrigerator, flat panel television, modern bathroom and a window that opened to allow fresh air inside). The location is excellent (under five minutes walk from the bus station and old town, lovely, safe surrounding area with beautiful buildings, restaurants and supermarkets). Each of the staff members I had contact with here were exceptionally friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned for the safety of their guests. Prices are very reasonable. If I ever find myself in Pamplona I would not hesitate to stay here again.…
We were in room 304, a very large corner room with 3 comfortable chairs and good bed. The pillows were a little flat. The breakfast was very good and it you make the reservation directly with them on their website they give you a discount for the breakfast making it very reasonable. Location is close to everything with restaurants and stores nearby. Bus station is only a couple of blocks away. Fifth floor is smoking rooms so we asked for the thrid floor in advance and received it. Train station requires a taxi (or bus) ride but that is true for all of the hotels in the old town area.
Very clean hotel with helpful staff. The bed was comfortable, A/C worked well and windows opened, water pressure was fantastic, and wifi worked flawlessly. Very reasonably priced and in a safe area. Close to the historic center and easily walkable.
This hotel is well situated and very comfortable. The shower was the best we found on our travels in Northern Spain and we had a minibar. Breakfast in the very popular café is very good value if you don’t want the buffet breakfast.
Pleasant hotel with helpful front desk gentleman. Didn't spend too much time as we were in the old city just down the road. Did the' Running of the Bulls' circuit....No bulls....thank goodness! Bought great jambon, had a lovely meal out in a bustling alley and enjoyed the stay thoroughly. By the way...got two great pairs of shoes.
