The best is the attention people, especially from Elvira the hotel manager. Its location is close to the airport and also close to Madrid metro station, you have several places to go to eat nearby which facilitates the stay. The only point is that this is a hotel that shares common areas with IBIS, if you go on holiday you can find many families who are staying by its pool, this makes the two elevators that have collapse because of their high demand. As I mentioned good, but not so recommended in holiday season.

There are some great things about this hotel and some not so great things. Let’s start with the positive. The rooms are clean and the check in staff was very helpful and friendly. The challenge is that they pride themselves as a family hotel but they close their pool at 8pm every night. We specifically booked this hotel because of the pool never expecting out to close so early in the worst heat wave in recent history. The location is terrible and you have to take a taxi or bus wherever you want to go, so that adds to the price consideration.

A Novotel / Ibis Styles, a little out of the way, very modern and nice inside, on the ring road (which you can't hear at all in the room). Nice, modern rooms, on the upper floors with a nice view of the city. Wonderful bathroom. Pleasant lobby with bar. Everything is very openly styled. Contrary to some reviews, I had no problems with the elevator or Ibis guests in the bar. There is a restaurant, but I didn't use it.
So overall, very pleasant accommodation in a high 4-star standard, a good Novotel, but you have to accept longer journeys: to the exhibition center with bus 122 directly in 40 minutes (bus stop in front of the door), into the city with bus 53 or metro station about 1km away. Madrid has an almost perfect and very cheap local transport system. For the city, I took the quite nice walk past the mosque to the bullring and got on the metro in Las Ventas (the walk to the other metro station is a bit spooky in the dark).
Everything was clean and well-maintained, no defects, discreet, perfect room service.

The hotel is very clean and smart, rooms are very good and the shower was great. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful.
The hotel is situated outside of the main city, I’d advise getting the “Lime” app and using the e-scooters, they are great
What let the hotel down was the postage swimming pool with very limited seating and the evening meal
When you order your the starters and main you don’t expect the main to arrive first, when you ask about the starters and then get looked at like your stupid, saying you didn’t order them!
The main gets taken away & the starters arrive, very nice they were & then the mains arrive, which were hot but the so called fries and the potatoes (not roasties!) were barely warm!
The fries ain’t fries, they are cubed potatoes
All in all the food was a massive let down, thankfully I didn’t order the tomahawk steak at €60 a kilo!

Very friendly reception in the lobby! We were able to leave our suitcases for free and check in later. Very nice hotel - rooms are good and have everything you need. We were there for a city trip - bus and subway right nearby! Uber on site is very cheap. Breakfast is OK, very busy and sometimes there was less choice, you basically have everything you need. We had lunch there once - staff were rather annoyed that we wanted to eat on the terrace. But we got everything and the food was very good but quite expensive. Checking out was very easy and went quickly. Staff at check-in were very friendly - employee came to the room in the evening and asked if everything was OK, I hadn't heard of that before.

A very relaxing time at Novotel las Ventas. Booked 2 premium rooms from 11 till 14 th October. We were upgraded to Executive rooms on the 8th floor. Never slept so well. Very confortable bed with a choice of pillows. Also room very quite with no noise outside. Such a pleasure. Plasma tv on wall with an excellent choice of foreign channels. Coffee and tea facilities in the room. Slippers and dressing gown also available. Had connecting room with my son which was so convenient. Staff at the reception were very friendly especially Pablo. Shame there is no business centre. The hotel shares a lift with Ibis customers as both hotel in the same building. Lower floors are for Ibis customers. The hotel is a good 20 minutes walk from the metro Ventas. Also 15 minutes over the bridge to metro Parque de las Avenidas. Just 4 minutes walk you have bus 53 which takes you to city center in 30 minutes. Plenty of connecting buses in Madrid. More pleasant than the metro. We bought at the airport a pass for 4 days at the cost of euros 22 and the pass gives you access to any buses and metro and takes you to airport. I bought passes at the airport so you can use it straight away. Cable car was a great way to see the city. After 6 O’Oclock the Prado museum is free. I will recommend the Novotel City Las Ventas if you want a quiet night away from the noisy city.

I recently stayed at this Novotel hotel for a business trip. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was quite disappointing. They asked me to have a seat and promised to assist me shortly. However, if the staff member attending to you is occupied with premium clients, you'll be left forgotten in a corner. It was disheartening to see other guests who arrived after me being served before me. Moreover, the way the queue was managed was problematic since even if another staff member was available, they didn't approach you spontaneously. This was not what I expected from a Novotel.
The hotel is shared between two brands: Ibis Styles on the lower floors and Novotel on the higher ones, with a common lobby. Consequently, the hotel felt very family-oriented and noisy, lacking the usual upscale atmosphere associated with Novotel.
On a positive note, the room itself was clean, spacious, and adequate.
However, the combination of two hotels into one and the underwhelming check-in experience did not impress me. I will not consider staying at this hotel for my future trips to Madrid. Therefore, I cannot recommend it.

Visited this Hotel (Novotel part) for the Madcool Festival, the rooms have all you need and are clean, the facilities are great and loved the terrace! But my special mention goes to the staff, especially the blonde woman behind the bar taking care of breakfasts and welcoming guests. She was pure joy and care! I’d just say I was not so impressed on the Spritz making skills of one of the barman to be honest, I tried to order in Spanish but he carried on talking to me in English, which made me feel probably I should not even try learning Spanish in the first place…At the contrary the blond lady helped me with the language and I could understand all what she said! She was amazing! She also speaks French if ever!
Well done to the hotel and F&B team! From start to end!
Breakfast is also good value, I have been to hotels when you pay 11€ just for a coffee, an apple and one dry croissant. This buffet has a large choice or sweet or savoury items, all you can eat style at resonable hours. It is lovely to have breakfast by the terrace.
Pool is good, kids will play around, just mind this is also a family hotel and don’t get annoyed at noise. It was very clean!
NB: I work in a hotel. I am one to know how difficult the job can be from all aspects, and this was a top notch stay!
I will be back for sure when I get the chance to visit Madrid in the future!
Oh and OMG the showers!!!! Highlight of the room!

From check-in to check-out this was a strange experience. There is no front desk, so you have to find one of the roaming agents to help you. They were busy when they arrived and there was no indication of a front desk, or what the process was. Finally one of them approached us and was helpful but it was very strange and we were tired.
It's worth noting that there are two hotels in the same building, the budget Ibis brand takes up the lower half, and the Novotel brand the top half. They seem to share facilities. Unfortunately, they also share only 2 elevators. There are frequent long waits to use the elevators going up or down.
The drainage in our shower was poor, causing water to spill onto the floor. Moreover, parts of the room were in poor repair and not maintained well.
We had a premium room, advertised as being on a "high floor" and with a "view". It was 2 floors above the budget Ibis rooms and in the middle of the hotel, and our view was of an office building.
Finally, the location is generally very poor for Madrid. There is no metro close by, only a bus, and the bus only takes you to the centre. There are very few services nearby which again is highly unusual for Madrid.
This was our first time staying at a Novotel in awhile, and I don't see why we would consider this brand in the future based on this experience.

We were in Madrid for my daughter's wedding and reserved about 8 rooms at the Novotel Madrid City Las Ventas. I have to say for starters, that the hospitality of most of the majority of the staff: the front desk area people, the people who received us for breakfast, and the room service staff were excellent and deserved a 5-star rating for your hotel. However, due to one individual the atmosphere was soured. He attended the bar at night, a gentleman with large tattoos up his arms, was unbelievably rude to just about everyone. Hospitality was not something that he presented to anyone looking for service. It shouldn't matter whether he was offensive to one or 20 people, but my large group brought $15,000 Euro's. For decades I have stayed at hotels in Europe, the U.S. Latin America, and Asia, and I honestly don't recall someone in the service hospitality industry that deserves a one-star rating that that bar tender. Perhaps his career is better placed as a bouncer in a bar. Good luck to the Novotel Madrid City Las Ventas.
