Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathroom is small but that seems to be the norm for this type of accommodation in Europe. Staff friendly and helpful. Very centrally located in a beautiful old building. Towels need to be bigger.

You can get an airport bus to plaza cibeles for about €5, its about 35 minutes in ordinary traffic, up to an hour peaks: then a (nice!) 15 minute walk to Sol and the hotel in plaza santa cruz, a couple of minutes more. Or... More
