Very nice hotel. We liked that it was a short walk to the beach. We spent the day at the beach. The hotel bar and restaurant was good. The pool was too cold. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was seriously over priced for what we got. They let us check in early which was great.

Our room was on the 6th floor with a perfect view of Avenue Diagonal and Diagonal Mar Shopping Center which is across the street. We had booked twin bed room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and supportive along with soft linens. Little amenities like toiletries, shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, but dental kit , shaving kit & slippers are missing . closet with drawers, and places for suitcases was very helpful and nice. Housekeeping was and good . The location Very good, 5 mins walk, and you are on the beach. Diagonal Mall is across the street, near by Metro station El Maresme | Fòrum It’s very convenient The 13th floor pool area. Petite but elegant with a gorgeous vibe plus a decent restaurant and bar with great views. Overall it’s great place to stay …

I spent three nights at this property ahead of a Cunard Cruise in the Meditterranean. I chose this hotel as my son had booked a room for the same period as he was joining us on the cruise. I specifically booked and prepaid the evening before as I knew we were going to get in early morning and after a long flight from South Africa I did not want to wait for a room. Upon arrival it was evident my room was not ready as there had been a blunder but the staff were most helpful and whilst I had to wait about an hour for a room the front desk manager sorted everything out for us and we had a room after eating breakfast. This property is situated close to the underground metro and not too far from all the tourist landmarks. Our room was well appointed and modern and we really had no grumbles at all. The staff were all superb and their efforts to resolve my query were admirable and well appreciated. This is an option if you want to be away from the madding crowd in Barcelona and they have a very nice pool deck too.…

Dear Wilson i really apreciate the detailed feedback you have taken the time to provide. In your comments you mentioned it has been a blunder however the staff at the front desk has managed to sort everything out after all. My hope is that all our guests experience a relax and peacefuy stay moreover if the purpose of the travel was not business. I am very happy that we have offered the best service there is from our staff in the pool deck, F&B dept , Housekeeping dept and as i mentioned before Front desk. Two weeks ago Dorota and I stayed at the AC Forum for six nights during our first visit to Barcelona. I am a retired chef, having worked for Radisson, several south Florida country clubs, the Woodstock Inn, Vermont, and a couple of Marriott properties in the US. During my career of over forty five years, I saw how important the professionalism of the front desk staff is, in terms of setting the tone for a positive and enjoyable guest experience. The AC front desk staff was one of the best I have ever encountered in my travels around Europe and North America. On our first night, Sergio, gave Dorota and I several restaurant recommendations, and we took one of his suggestions. We had an excellent meal at a seafood restaurant that was with in walking distance. A couple of days later I had several interactions with Yasmina (I hope I've spelled her name correctly!) and her colleague, Rodrigo. I won't go into all the details, but let's just say they were part of my, Barcelona "Telenovella." They were both extremely helpful and quite funny, giving me advice on how to deal with another tourist's important documents I found in the neighborhood during a morning walk. Ultimately, I gave the documents to the police, as the AC staff suggested, but I did check at the convention center (Rodrigo's excellent suggestion) to see if the person who had lost the documents was attending the same conference my wife was attending. The three of us had a few laughs as I dealt with the situation! My point is that Sergio, Yasmina, and Rodrigo really presented the welcoming "faces" of the AC. The AC is in a great neighborhood away from the hectic city center, but easily connected to all the major tourist destinations by tram and/or metro. With the help of one of the hotel's bartenders, I found my way, using public transportation, to Tibidabo where you have unbelievable views of the sea, the mountains, and the city of Barcelona, along with a beautiful church, and an amusement park from the 1920s. It's worth the trip! The AC housekeeping staff was excellent, as well. All and all, the staff really made our stay extremely enjoyable and fun. I recommend the AC highly!…

I asked him when I checked out to call my friend when t-shirt will arrive to him from online store. They say it’s ok but till now no responses from hotel . Online shop say that my order has been successfully delivered at 5 of September. I asked them if it’s okay they answered that their policy is not accept any parcel if I am not inside the hotel.I’m very disappointed with how they solve this issue. Inside the room also smells not so well for this type of hotel. I tell them twice but nothing was done…

Good location, Nice room, but AC not working properly, bathroom sink clogged and last room cleaning did not leave toilet paper or coffee cups. Room service club sandwich pretty bad, wouldn't have mind to pay $26 including 2 Pepsi if the sandwich would have been good. Complained but got charged anyway. Employees very nice.

Beautiful building with good location. Nice enough base if you come to Barcelona to enjoy the beach as well as the sights. The beach is around 10 minutes walk, most of the sights were also easy reach by bus or Metro. Swimming Pool is located on the 13th floor with great views.. Rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast offering was excellent! There's also a shopping mall just across the street. Most staff we encountered are amazing! Shootout to Rodrigo from Mexico a guest services agent who help us plan our trips by local transport and help secure our pass to Sagrada familia, Muchos gracias!

Honestly, we are walking away a little deflated and heartbroken after this stay. For context, we first visited this hotel in 2014 and loved it. We then visited pretty much every year until 2019, making friends with the hotel staff along the way. I must STRESS that this is so unlike us. As avid travellers, we have never really stayed in a hotel more than once, so i really hope you understand the deflation that follows... Here are some of the reasons we LOVED this hotel: - The location. 5 mins walk, and you are on the beach. Gorgeous. - The BREAKFAST. This hotel, by far, offered the best breakfast variety possible, which included home baked biscuits (palmiers) and cava with a choice of juice and berry smoothies. - The rooms. CLEAN, Spacious, comfortable. -The Price point. Even in the summer it offered rates that even when elevated could be justified. - The staff. HELPFUL. FRIENDLY. WELCOMING. - The pool area. Petite but elegant with a gorgeous vibe plus a decent restaurant and bar with great views. On this trip.... Location - well the beach is still there but it will cost you €75 per day for 2 beds and an umbrella. (Nothing to do with the hotel...just info. Those that know Bambu...it's no longer the same) Breakfast- The biggest disappointment of all. The sausages looked raw. The bacon looked raw and tasted plastic. Boiled eggs or heavily fried eggs only. NO prosecco/cava, no fresh juice, no home baked biscuits. Just boring and really BAD tasting food. THE ROOMS- we walked out of the elevator onto the 10th floor and it looked like some of the doors had been kicked in! The wooden panels were broken/chipped. We opened the door to our room and the stench was horrific! It smelt like a sewer! We asked to change rooms, which they did, but it was the same size on the floor above and had a very similar smell. As it was past midnight, they offered to spray the room with air freshener...! Apparently, no other rooms were available.... unless we were up for paying an upgrade! This really upset us...especially after all the times we had stayed previously and recommended the hotel too! Shame on the management for this. THE STAFF- Honestly the staff were as helpful as they could be. Especially the night we arrived. But previously and WITHOUT asking we had been offered a free upgrade due to our loyalty and being frequent guests (note to management) All staff at the pool bar were fantastic. Couldn't fault them. THANK YOU ALL. Overall, the stay had pleasant qualities, thanks to the pool area. Also, as our flight got delayed, we asked to check out later, and they tried to charge us €90 but the assistant manager allowed us to stay until 4.30 pm for free. So thanks to her for that. This hotel has a special place in our heart but as the saying goes...all good things must come to an end. We will be trying new hotels around forum moving forward.…

I had a fantastic stay at the AC Barcelona Forum hotel! The overall experience was excellent, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure a seamless and enjoyable stay. A special shout-out to the receptionist Roman, who was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout my visit. The room was comfortable, offering a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's location was also convenient, making it easy to access various attractions and public transportation.
