Great hotel, we stayed for 4 nights - the room was lovely, had everything we needed and was cleaned daily. Location was excellent, just off the Ramblas so nice and close to everything. Breakfast was great, such a wide variety of food and drinks available we were amazed at how much there was on offer for breakfast. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, our flight home was a later evening flight. The reception staff arranged to store our luggage for us free of charge until we were ready to head to the airport which was brilliant and a huge help to us. Also loved the roof terrace. 100% would visit this hotel again, great value for money

This was my 6th trip to Barcelona as it’s my favourite place to be in the world but always had rather hit or miss experiences with the hotels I’ve stayed at…not this one. This is hands down the best one i have stayed at while in the city. We arrived early Sunday morning (10/3/24) and were greeted with the sight of the rather grand Güell Palace which is directly across the road from the hotel, then greeted with the extremely friendly and attentive reception staff, again, hotel staff all around the world can be hit and miss in terms of general friendliness and helpfulness but the staff here go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and are more than happy to give you helpful tips on where to eat and shop. Perfecte! The rooms are extremely clean with cleaning staff cleaning the rooms daily. In terms of dining I would urge anyone who stays to go for the breakfast option with booking as it caters for every palate and nationality imaginable with the freshest pastries, cereals, meats and cheeses on offer. The rather picky previous reviews about the No tea or coffee making facilities kind of deafeats the object of the hotel bar/cafe and the many wonderful independent coffee shop surrounding you in the Barrio Gothic. On our last day we’re were allowed to keep our baggage in a storage area in the car park next door as our flight was later that evening, a service I’ve never previously seen executed without a fee involved, these guys don’t charge for this facility which is incredible! The lady on reception even offered us the restroom and one more look on the breathtaking roof top terrace over looking the city (which is a must!) Before we left. I actually left this hotel heavy hearted as I didn’t want to leave! We will 100% be back when in Barca again! Moltes Gracies to everyone at the Gaudi Hotel!

We stayed at Hotel Gaudi for 5 nights in March, a very good experience. We could have let some things bother us, but the pros outweigh most of them. First of all, the location, you are literally close to everything and if something is not, the metro is right there, and the system is very easy to use. The room was great, highly recommend to get a Superior Double with terrace. We had a view over Palace Guell and on the roof top you have a panoramic view over almost all of Barcelona. Of course, the walls are thin in such an old building and the elevator is old and small, but those things did not bother us too much. The beds are comfortable, the staff is VERY nice, friendly and helpful if we had any concerns, breakfast was good, and everything was clean! Will recommend!

What a great hotel and fantastic staff. I had some devastating news whilst away in Barcelona and the staff could not have helped me more and I will be forever grateful to them. I cannot fault the hotel one bit. Clean and lovely rooms and good location. Thank you to all at Hotel Gaudi. Jo Carlin

Excellent location, just 30-40 metres from La Rambla, directly opposite Gaudi's Palau Guel - so it's in the perfect spot to visit all of Barcelona's main sights and go shopping/eating etc. Hotel is relatively small and in great condition, clean and modern. The 2 lifts are really small - can just get 4 people in each. Staff are super welcoming and friendly and seem to be fluent in English & French too. Rooms are a decent size, modern and clean. There is a safe in the room and a kettle. Rooms on floors 4, 5 & 6 have terraces with views over Barcelona, so would recommend requesting one of those. Breakfast is standard European but there's plenty of choice and it's good. They spotted from our passports that one of us had a birthday during our visit so on that day we came back to a lovely bottle of cava and 2 glasses - lovely surprise and a nice touch Would highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely hotel. My son and I had a twin room on the 4th floor. It was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. Big bathroom. I read reviews about hotels in Barcelona having thin walls, which makes sense since they are mostly old buildings BUT....I enjoyed a rather noise free room. No traffic noise either. Breakfast was great. There was a wide selection and everything tasted great. No empty trays, everything was resplenished quickly by the lovely young lady at the buffet .Really good coffee selection as well. The staff at the reception was very polite and helpful. All in all, a great place , reasonably priced right in the heart of the city. Would definitely recommend .

This simple hotel has many positive points, but some serious negatives too. It's in a very convenient location, being adjacent to the tourist-magnet Ramblas, but in a dodgy area, so it is advised to not use the darker areas at night - although we had no issues. You have a vast number of restaurants and cafes/bars inside a few minutes' walk, plus thousands of vendors/shops selling cheap Chinese souvenirs. The hotel has reasonable facilities including a bar (totally empty throughout our visit), a rooftop terrace bar with a pond (it's NOT a swimming pool) - also closed/empty, and a gym (not for us!). The restaurant was OK for breakfast (€13) but the UK fare was luke warm, and the coffee bland. There is certainly a range of rooms available here. Our first was very small, and stank of sewage. When we complained, we were moved to another, larger room with a balcony - but the views were just of other people's balconies, so no feature at all really, and in such a run-down area, everything is scruffy. The walls are so thin that revellers disturbed us in the early hours, but what can you say to that? It was frustrating that there was almost no English choice on the TV, and the channels that did work were-volume-restricted such that they were almost unintelligible. Take a book! The staff were nice and mostly helpful, and at around £70/night, it was good value - but not without drawbacks. Would we go back? Unlikely, and certainly not unless I had exact details of the allocated room.

Great Location, just off La rambla. Room was tiny, we had a little balcony. The breakfast was good, the staff stern. The reception staff, the young man was lovely and always ready to answer a question. The kebab shop across the road was absolutely fantastic, worth lining up for.

Very popular hotel in a great location - quiet but within steps of Las Ramblas. Rooms are predictably small, but with all the conveniences, including a kettle and good wifi. Safe requirs a key and no fridge. Enjoyed our terrace room on the 5th. On the 6th floor, there is a terrace and knee-deep plunge pool. If you are arriving early, I.e. overseas flight, I would recommend booking for the night before so you have a room to go to upon arrival. The hotel is extremely popular, and its 70 odd rooms are booked, so don't think you'll get an early check-in. If you arrive before many others, you'll receive a locker key, and you can store reasonably sized luggage there. If all the lockers are taken, your luggage is piled into a small closet near reception. Check-in is at 3. We grabbed a delicious pita meal across the street at Mustafas and ate on our terrace. Small bar on street level and breakfast area is upstairs on 6. We did not frequent either. Would definitely recommend.

This is as an older hotel in a great location. We arrived early and they gave us 2 lockers to store our suitcases until our room was ready. Our room had a balcony that had a great view of the top of the museum across the street ( there were exhibits on the roof) The breakfast buffet was excellent
