A very good hotel for the money.
We rested in August 2023, bought 2 nights to see Barcelona, then went to the beach.
The only negative for me is that if I had known this, I would have booked another room. The Doble/Twin Standard room has a window and no balcony, but this is not a problem, the problem is that the window faces the hotel corridor, that is, there is no fresh air in the room. It was a shock for me, because this information is not available anywhere.
The breakfast is excellent - scrambled omelette, two types of sausages, fried bacon, jamon, a couple of types of cheeses and a couple of types of Spanish sausages. There was packaged yogurt, a lot of fruit (banana, kiwi, apple, pears, plums, watermelon, melon), various buns for dessert, delicious bread with tomato. The breakfast was excellent, everything you needed and very tasty.
The location is also great. We went to the Monumental station (purple line), about 5 minutes on foot and there you can get anywhere. I recommend taking a couple of stops to the Parallel station, which is a direct route, and then taking the funicular up Mount Montjuïc, where a beautiful panorama of Barcelona opens up.
We took a taxi from the hotel to Plaza Catalunya several times - 6.75 euros
I recommend the hotel to see Barcelona, due to its excellent location and pricing policy, just request a room with a window facing the street :)
Thank you all for your attention.

Excellent location. Short 3-4 min (300 m) walk Monumental (old bull ring) metro station. Great WiFi and very quiet room with tub and shower. Large well lit lobby The room key activates the room electricity so it takes a while for air conditioning to cool room on your arrival. An environmental plus but requires patience after a hot day of sight seeing. Limited access to electrical outlets, bring an extension cord. Mini bar looks like a refrigerator but ours was at room temperature.
City Tour Hop-on-Hop off bus stop in about 5 min walk across from near the National Theater of Catalunya at corner of Avinguda Meridiana and C. de Pamplona.
To get Hotel Glories from the airport take the Airport Express bus (A1) to Plaça Universitat, walk across street to Universitat metro station take Purple line (L2 in Badalona Pompeu Fabra direction) 3 stops to Monumental station. or (less expensive) #46 bus to Plaça Espanya (bus stop is on Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes) cross street to metro station take the Red line (L1 in Fondo direction) 8 stops to the Glories station.
To get Hotel Glories from the Sants Estació train station take the Blue line (L5 Vall d'Hebron direction) 5 stops to Sagrada Família transfer to the Purple line (L2 in Parallel direction) go 1 stops to Monumental station.

Convenient hotel for getting around Barcelona, close to the Sagrada Familia and PL Glories, the metro station is also close.
We had a good time, good cleanliness, good breakfast service.
The only thing is that in the breakfast machine there is an option for espresso or cappuccino. Here the coffee is not espresso coffee, but barley coffee. Maybe specify it. Because if I knew it was barley coffee or cappuccino with barley coffee, I wouldn't have chosen it. Furnishings a little old, but still well kept, our room was fine.

First off the hotel has a lovely entrance, the front desk is very friendly. You’re able to leave your luggage locked before it’s time to check in to your room. The rooms were quite big and super clean too.

I stayed in August at the hotel and I share my experience. I brought some money with me, kept in the wallet locked in my suitcase. The day I asked for the room to be cleaned, all the money disappeared. My complaints to the Manager, responsible for the personnel, who gave me no support, denying that any of the hotel staff had entered the room, were of no avail. my room, even assuming that the person responsible had entered from the outside... yet there was no sign of forced entry, and no one seemed to be surprised... I leave the conclusions to you Terrible experience! Place to stay away from!

Very well located hotel, small room and staff behaved badly except for one girl who was very polite to us. Very noisy hotel, you can listen to your neighbors and especially the noise of cleaning at 9am. Acceptable hotel compared to its price

Book by booking, but the hotel insists on advance payment over an external link few days later but weeks before checkinn so I paid.it was exhibition time so hotels are higher rate but my room was not nearly like in photo , very small , Groujd floor in a labyrinth, room also labyrinth and not even a bottle water for such rate , window in inner courtyard very depressive and dark! Bed clean but room average, small TV far from bed ,bath ok amenity OK! For half price ok but not more ! Next time, I will book an earlier something with a better price/level balance

Hotel 15 minutes walk from both the metro and the Holy Family. A somewhat peripheral area but served by supermarkets and transport. Cleanliness of the bathroom can be defined as deficient , also the drain did not work and leaked constantly making noise.
Staff helpful and courteous.

It is a typical "full American" breakfast, quite good. Enjoy it
Hi,
rambles is 15 or 20 minutes by bus
beach is 10-15 minutes by bus.
Thanks
Xavi
Monumental is a brisk 10 minute walk & was the one I used. It seemed you could reach the whole of the city from there without having to change.
Very basic Continental breakfast. We went to one of the many cafes within a 5 minute walk,
"Key card works the electrics in the room - that stumped us on arrival. :) Shame there is no tea/coffee facilities in the room. "Read full review
