Nestled in a quieter locale, Hotel Acta Voraport is a stone's throw from the beach and well-connected by metro, delighting guests with its prime location. The modern and clean rooms, along with a rooftop terrace featuring a pool, contribute to the hotel's vibrant atmosphere. While the rooms are appreciated for their comfort, some guests feel they could be more spacious and better equipped.
The hotel's amenities, particularly the rooftop pool and breakfast, receive high marks, although the absence of fridges in some rooms is noted. Travelers commend the value and service, even as a few mention extra costs.

We loved this place! Felt so good to come back to the hotel after a day of exploring the city.
Rooms are modern, clean, very comfortable and very quiet. Beds are comfortable and cozy. Only downside is that there was relatively little room on the sink counter for my toiletry bag.
Breakfast is very good and worth the cost. It's relatively ordinary (eggs, bacon, fruit, veggies, breads, pastries, cereal, etc...) so if you're looking for a special local breakfast you might want to skip it.
Location is off the main touristic area, so it's very quiet and safe, but within 10-15m metro ride to everything you'll want to visit and see.
The staff is extremely helpful and nice. We were 2 friends, and got upgraded to 2 rooms (from the 1 we ordered) for a ridiculously low extra charge w/o asking.

From the moment we walked in the door the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, a very nice, clean room and from our room (7th floor) you could see some of the city's most iconic buildings, then you go up to the rooftop terrace and the views are even better, there's a small pool up there and an load of seating if you just want to take a dip or take in the great views.
We arrived early and upon asking if we could store our luggage, or even pay to do an early check in, we were given a room straight away (In the UK, usually you're charged fo this)
Then on check out, again free of charge, we were given access to the luggage storage area, which had secure lockers so we didn't have to cart our case around with us as we had an almost 7 hour wait for our flight home.
The options at breakfast were excellent, enough to cater for everyone's tastes and you're never rushed, or made to feel you've overstayed your welcome.
There's plenty to do in Barcelona, go see the sights, visit the tourist traps, but if you stay here, it's well worth checking out what's on offer in the immediate area, plenty of bakeries, restaurants and there's even a couple of craft beer places that serve excellent stuff.
A five minute walk to Rambla del Poblenou and there's loads on offer, ten minutes and there's cracking shopping centre in Gloriés, fifteen minutes and your on the beach,

Hotel modern. Reception staff welcoming and friendly. If you book an upgraded superior room with a view, bear in mind that if you are disabled they don’t have any of these rooms but this isn’t communicated to you before your stay. Room was changed to upgraded view room as wasn’t much difference between the two types of room and obviously you want the room you’ve paid extra for! Room had clean towels and bed made daily, my only criticism would be that no actual cleaning was done while we were there Monday-Friday, so floors were dirty and dust was accumulated in many places. The bed is so comfortable. The temperature control unit in the room is confusing, you’re either too hot or too cold. Coffee machine a nice touch. Location and views from the rooftop of hotel are amazing. One more point I’d make for improvement for disabled wheelchair users is to ensure the lift up to the rooftop is always readily available - on many occasions it was loaded up with black bags of rubbish and trolleys full of empty glasses and drinks bottles and you have to go looking for a member of staff to allow you up and down. Not ideal if a wheelchair user was alone wishing to access. And a couple of the staff were not very friendly and didn’t know how to use the lift (same staff who dumped rubbish in the lift) we felt embarrassed and awkward having to ask for permission to go up and down in lift, and were made to feel like an inconvenience to a lady with red hair who was working up there on 24th September 2024. I would stay at this hotel again but I don’t think I’d bring disabled person with me just because of the above. I left my feedback on the feedback card upon leaving handed to reception so I made my feedback known in the hope that maybe improvement is made in future. As I say I would stay again.

The hotel is very modern, tastefully decorated and clean. The staff is pleasant. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the sea and the city. The attentions in the room (coffee machine + pods and bottles of water) are very appreciable. Parking is a plus for leaving your car safely (rate 15 euros/night extra). It’s a shame that the large breakfast room is on level -1 because it lacks natural light.

I chose this hotel because it is quieter than many others - it is a new building so fairly well sound proofed and everything works (quiet air con, great shower etc) plus the mattresses are still nice and new. I hope it stays this way as the building gets older. We went first week of September and I don't think the hotel was full as we always found a nice space on the roof terrace easily. The 'superior' room isn't very big and doesn't have every facility, but then it is only a 3 star hotel and it is an amazing choice in that star category if you want to be somewhere a little quieter but still well-connected.
The staff were excellent, very helpful and pleasant and even bought a little chocolate gift up to the room on my partner's birthday, which we were not expecting at all. Although bottled water is only provided on day 1, you can collect it any time from reception which we really appreciated. I think the tap water in Barcelona is absolutely fine to drink, we drank plenty from the fountains in the streets but the hotel told us to use bottled water for the coffee machine,,, I'm not sure why.
Breakfast was varied and the buffet area was clean and food was kept well stocked. Yes the hot dishes were not super hot but it didn't really matter, warm bacon is fine. There were some mystery dished that were different on some days and not obvious - it would be helpful to label what is in them!
The hotel is close to a great strip of bars and restaurants (Rambla del Poblenou) which has everything you could want, and you can follow the strip right down to the beach. We didn't find the food too expensive - 13-16 euro for pizzas, pasta, burgers even paella. The metro station was not far but I'm glad we took a cab from the airport as it would be a pain to walk with our cases. DO NOT get the hotel to book your airport cab, the driver charged us 49Eur for a 25 minute trip (11Eur more than the one we booked ourselves on the way there).
The streets around Poblenou stink by the way, there is something very wrong with the drains but we couldn't smell it in the hotel at all.

The room was very clean and the staff were welcoming. Breakfast had plenty of choices, was tasty and was a very relaxed atmosphere. Fabulous location, restaurants and shops nearby. The luggage room was great, with very secure lockers to keep the luggage in as we didn't have a flight until 7.15pm we could leave our belongings in there knowing they would be safe.

The hotel is fresh and modern, located in a dynamic area, where you can find everything within walking distance. 5 minutes away by foot from subway and 10 minutes away from the beach. The staff is friendly and welcoming, ready to answer your inquiries. The hotel has a lovely lobby with a large sofa, some armchairs and drinks machines. The rooms are cozy and the design is lovely. We got a room at 14th flour, because we opted for a room with view, unfortunately it was the very last one on that flour so we could hardly see the sea but it was fine. In our room we found a safe box and some coffee (4 Nespresso capsules for 2 persons for 3 nights and haven’t been refilled), water, some amenities: foot balm, pillow spray and disposable slippers. Unfortunately there’s is no kettle or tea in the room, if you need such you’ll have to go down to the bar or ask for room service for a fee. Towels get changed everyday if you need and bed is also made. The hotel has a beautiful terrace with a pool and it offers a beautiful panoramic of the sea and the city. Too bad the water is not heated so you can’t swim in the pool during the cold seasons but there are some chairs and music is always playing so you can enjoy the view during opening times. The bar wasn’t open in March but I suppose it is during the summer. Breakfast is served in a lovely room with a beautiful design and the food is great. There are plenty of options for everyone: dairy products, fresh fruits, vegetables, juices, pastries, vegetarian options as well, Nespresso coffee and freshly ground coffee. Jamón and cheese of course are not missing. The atmosphere was relaxing and we enjoyed to spend our mornings there. The personal was attentive to everyone and food was great. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant where you can enjoy coffee or food later in the day. Also, a storeroom keeps your luggage locked up in case you arrive earlier or you need to leave later. It is great, we also used it. The hotel is clean and our room was also well prepared but the bathroom was a bit dirty, the wall near the toilet had some traces and hasn’t been cleaned during our stay although the room was. To conclude, we enjoyed our stay and for sure I will return here. If we would make a suggestion, it is regarding the amenities, maybe better products, some cream lotion as well, a kettle would be nice and a toilet brush also appreciated. But anyway, you are making a good job, keep going and hope to see you soon! Thanks for having us, we will return for sure.

Hotel is situated in the Poblenou area of Barcelona which is a quieter district. You are a street away from numerous bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. The beach ‘Bogatell’ is less than 10 minutes walk, through a park area and is a large stretch of sand. It is clean and has a few beach bars. There is a metro station 5 minutes away from the hotel and from there you can easily get to all the main tourist attractions that Barcelona has to offer.
The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms have a very comfortable bed, plenty of hanging and drawer space and the shower is hot and powerful. There is also a hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel if you are travelling light. There is no kettle (we took a travel one) and no fridge but as we spent very little time in the room this wasn’t an issue. The basement bar was excellent and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also very good with a huge selection of hot and cold food and drink.
The pool on the roof looked wonderful however as the weather wasn’t quite warm enough we didn’t try it out but the view from the roof was amazing. It was a shame the bar on the rooftop wasn’t yet open but am sure in the summer this is a great place to sit, swim and relax. We loved Barcelona and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Voraport.

I liked the dining room and breakfast (buffet with a good choice), view from the roof amazing, the room is clean, bed is nice, the sea is near at 10 minutes, very nice DJ).... what did not like - at night on the territory of the hotel sat a company of people and made loud noise, the guard did not ask them not to make noise or leave.... it was difficult to sleep... the windows overlook the construction site, at 7am we were woken up by the loud sounds of construction... the window is not completely closed not to hear it.... It was also a surprise that I was asked to pay an additional 14 euros Barcelona tax when checking into my room, this is not mentioned anywhere in the tickets... What I would improve would be to add a fridge and kettle to the room so I could buy myself something to eat and it wouldn't spoil..... For clothes I would like to have a small wardrobe instead of hangers, because even underwear and other things have nowhere to hide) There is no towel dryer to dry swimming costumes, underwear, towels, it is desirable to add them.... In the main lobby is not a very pleasant odour, not sure why..... In general, I see that the hotel is good, and I believe that you will take comments to make it even better) I wish you prosperity and more customers).

The location is really great. You're a walk away from a subway that gets you to the main city and airport. The area is not touristy at all and you aren't paying inflated tourist prices for your stay. I highly recommend Can Dendê (brunch) and Madeleine By Ferrières (pastries).
The views from our room weren't amazing but you can see the water and the Sagrada Familia. The room was clean and generally very nice.
Our first room was on the a lower floor and the shower drain was clogged and the window whistled (a piece of weather stripping was missing). I mentioned it to the front desk and they moved us to nearly the top floor--a no questions asked free upgrade!
The luggage storage was very spacious and were nice individual lockers, not just suitcases held behind the front desk.
The rooftop pool was not heated and it was way too windy to really enjoy. We visited at the end of March, so maybe it would be nicer in the summer. The rooftop viewing deck was closed for renovations.

Hi, yes children can use the pool. I have no idea if the pool is open in April as I have just been there in June, you will have to get in touch directly with the hotel to check
Good morning,
The Viewtiful terrace is open from January to December but the rooftop bar is open from April to October, if you would like to enjoy a drink you can go to the restaurant open until 23 hours and bring it upstairs. The swimming pool is not heated.
Best regards,
Cristina Martín.
