On arrival at the Granada Train Station, I took a cab to as close to the hotel as it could get due to activities in the street. It is located at the opposite end of the square with the Cathedral. You check in at the bar/restaurant on the ground level. The room was superb!! I had a very comfortable bed, a little kitchenette style area, and a modern bathroom. The view from my room was directly onto the square and at the front of the cathedral. I really liked the central location and buses were 2 blocks away. There was one hiccup the first night with no hot water available very late. The next morning there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen area was well stocked with plates, a microwave, small fridge. I was there in August with super high temps during the day and it was a welcome respite to come back and lounge in the A/C. I would highly recommend this hotel and the area.

You are right o the main square across from the Cathedral. Couldn't be better. Casa is run out of the restaurant downstairs and there is no full time front desk. Not a problem. The rooms are well equipped but somewhat squishy. Try to get a room that overlooks the square - noisy but you may be serenaded though half the night.

We really enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights. The hotel is a great location literally right across from the cathedral (great view of the cathedral from out our window!) and easy walking distance from most things. (We did take the bus to the Alhambra because it was very hot, but the bus stop was very close and very easy to use). The hotel is sort of apartment style, it has a small kitchenette, but we didn't use it. It's very clean and beautiful, we loved the atmosphere! I found the bed a little hard and couldn't find a blanket when I woke up cold, there was just a sheet on the bed (But hey the AC sure works great!). The hotel doesn't have a lobby, really. There's a very small area with a desk when you walk in, but we only saw it staffed in the morning from like 8-12. You just use your room key to get in the front door of the hotel. The staff of the bar next door takes care of everything-we were confused at first but it worked out great and they were very nice. It felt weird to walk into a restaurant with all our luggage, but they helped us right away, took us next door and got us set up. When we had questions we were able to pop in the bar and ask, no problem.

Loved our stay here! Room 12 faces the Cathedral of Granada! Lovely room with a microwave and small refrigerator. Walking distance to many places of interest and plazas with good restaurants. Sylvia, from reception was very friendly and helpful, and there is a discount on food and drink at the restaurant downstairs.
