A nice place, centrally located, with very friendly staff. We had a family room - the kids were excited to sleep upstairs :-) Due to COVID, the breakfast was served in the room every morning. If coming by car (as we did), it's better to park in one of the garages as advised by the hotel. We parked at Puerto Real and walked to the hotel - it took us about 15 minutes (with luggage and two not too small kids). The +42°C was not a problem either after we've spend most of the day sitting (plane, car). It is possible to take a taxi from the parking garage, but you'll still have to walk the last few meters as the last few steps to the hotel are a staircase. Talk to the receptionist if you need tips for the dining options - they are great (both the receptionist and the options :-) As the day temperatures in the summer (we visited in early August) soar, it is not surprising that the dinner starts after 8pm. Turning up on time for your reservation at 8 you risk to be the first at a restaurant, so give the staff a few minutes to get ready. And book a tour to Alhambra - it does make a difference to listen to the story of the place.…
We visited Granada for nine days and Palacio de Santa Ines was our home while we were there. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. First of all, even though there are a few stairs upon arrival, the hotel is in a perfect location to walk anywhere in Granada. We had a triple room. It was very large for a European hotel room. I had a platform up a spiral staircase where I slept. There was a queen bed downstairs. The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. There was plenty of room for our stuff and a mini-bar refrigerator. The people at the front desk were all very helpful. Anna was especially good to us. The hotel gave us Valentine Day suckers and even a bottle of Cava champagne on our last night. The breakfast were good, with typical European food. There was great coffee and meats and cheese. The lady who worked in the breakfast room was so positive and nice. Coffee and left-over pastries were available in the afternoon, which was great after a day of walking aound town. If you're wondering about which hotel to choose, I highly recommend Palacio de Santa Ines.…
Favorite hotel in Granada and all of Spain! Such an amazing vibe, food, and property. Y'all exceeded our wildest expectations and, having stayed in many hotels in the world, I would rate this extremely highly.
My first trip to Granada and this a little jewel of a hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay. Located in the Albaicin quarter which is full of winding little streets and wonderful bars and restaurants it was an oasis of calm and peace. We had a large room (7) which had a cozy sitting area, 2 bathrooms and a fully stocked mini bar. There is no bar in this hotel but a perfect little tapas bar a minutes walk down the steps from the hotel was a bonus. The view from the balcony was of the top of the Alhambra so very atmospheric although we spent most of the time enjoying the view from the tapas bar in the corner. The staff were friendly and helpful especially around top tips for accessing the Alhambra. They provided a helpful map and directed us to great locations for food and shopping in Granada. The breakfast was buffet style and we had no complaints. They provide complementary coffee and tea in an afternoon in the dining room. This hotel is in a converted Palacio so is quirky and full of character. …
We recently spent 3 night in Granada at the Palacio Santa Ines. Not only was the location perfect, the historic hotel was charming. It has all the amenities you could ask for; the charm, character and history of a great European hotel. The room and the view of the Alhambra gave us an incredible memory of Granada. We will definitely return to this hotel.
