You absolutely cannot beat the combination of this hotel’s location, price, quality of the rooms, and hospitality. First off, it’s situated in an excellent location, about a 3 minute drive from the Alhambra. Secondly, the rates are extremely affordable for the quality of the room you get. Ours was an excellent, up-to-date room with an incredible bed. The bed was so comfortable that I’m looking into trying to purchase one. Finally, the hospitality and attention you get is unbeatable. The owner and staff are unbelievably nice and helpful. They immediately helped us with any questions we had about the city, bus routes, attractions, etc. They really do treat you like family. They also provide a delicious, little breakfast every morning for about $2 euros. Parking is available outside but if it’s full, they also have a parking garage available for $5 euros a day. This was our favorite stay in our entire 14-day trip in Spain. I cannot recommend Hotel Albero enough. We definitely will be returning to Granada and when we do, we absolutely will be staying with our friends in Hotel Albero.…
On the outskirts of Granada but, on bus route 33 and, taxi only €5. Family run, very friendly. We stayed here for two nights. The room had a fridge and a large balcony. Not great views, but when you are less than a 5 min taxi ride from The Alhambra who cares. Very clean, with air-con and spacious. We used the restaurant next door for breakfast which was just what we needed.
We had a great experience at Hotel Albero. Although we only planned to stay one night in Granada, my parents and I found that our night at Albero was by far the most comfortable we'd had in Spain thus far, so we decided to stay another night. To begin, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. As well, parking, which is normally a huge problem in Spain, was very easy as there were spaces right in front of the hotel (also a 5 € parking garage if there's no space). Mr. Pepe was extremely helpful from the moment we entered, telling us all about Granada and answer all of our questions. We really appreciate his help and kindness! Getting to the city centre is not a problem since there are buses, and the hotel is located close to the Alhambra, as well. Overall, great experience and would definitely stay again.…
Easy to find, great location. Parking easy, and 33 bus stop, that comes from bus station, through the centre of Granada, is two mins walk to hotel. Staff are exceptionally helpful. Room immaculate, beds and bedding good quality. Fridge in room a real bonus, a/c works well. We had a room at the side and with windows closed no road noise, open the road noise was still OK. Bathroom great, lots of good quality towels, plenty of hot water. Good breakfast, plenty of coffee orange juice, tostada, croissant, cheese, ham, preserves, etc. Can't fault it. And at that price is a real bargain. Restaurant next door - Puerta de Alhambra - does fantastic menu de dia.
My family and I stayed here 2 night’s using it as a base to explore Granada. I would highly recommend you stay here if you are doing the same. There is free on street parking outside the hotel, the bus stop to the city centre is 5 minutes bus walk from the hotel. It costs €1.40 per person and takes @20 mins journey. The hotel is clean, modern, good beds and bathroom, air con is fine, breakfast is coffee, juice, toasted rolls, warmed croissant with ham and cheese too. The staff are friendly, it is not expensive to stay there, as others say it is 1 star but better value then that. As above I would recommend it to you if you were doing same as me.
