Staff were the most friendly and accommodating I’ve ever met. Room decoration and cleanliness excellent, parking very safe, adjoining cafe good croissants and coffee. Simply can’t wait to go back! Congratulations and thank you to Las Nieves staff.
We enjoyed our stay albeit too short, at this hotel located in the centre of the city. Nearby parking was a bit of a challenge but they (the staff) help out immediately. On arrival and during our stay, Pilar and Maria were welcoming and we were given good tips on booking tickets for the Alhambra. We were told to try on the official website at midnight as that’s when (limited) tickets could become available. We managed to get tickets for the same day. Room was small but comfortable and tastefully decorated.
I stayed here for 2 nights then joined a group staying at the Meliá.Here they gave me the double bed I requested and the room was on a quiet side street. Despite it being a noisey weekend the room was quiet. The hotel was completely modernised 4 years ago. Only quibble was that the sheets were poor quality. Didn't eat breakfast. Good variable AC no fridge or safe. Lift was easy to get.
This was my first trip to Spain and it was amazing. The hotel I stayed was also very good. Spacious rooms and very neat and clean. I was on a business trip so couldn’t travel much. But my stay was great. The location was awesome and food was good. I could reach out to other places also.
This hotel is in a fabulous location in the city centre and we were able to walk to most attractions. For Alhambra it was a 5 minute walk to the bus and cost €1.40 each way. We were in a room on the first floor facing the street. Room was a good size and the beds are the most comfortable we have slept in since we started travelling. They also make up the beds with a top sheet and blanket which is so much better than duvets where it is hard to control level of warmth. The only issue with the room was the noise from the street. Whilst it’s a quiet retail street with no cars, there is a truck (garbage or cleaning) that comes down at 01.30am and woke me every night. Windows do not have soundproofing. Bathroom was smallish with shower over the bath. The configuration of the bathroom is ridiculous though as was the toilet was literally under the sink so space was restricted. Ended up sitting on it sideways most of the time. I’m small so hate to imagine a bigger person trying to sit on it. Odd too because there was enough room to place the toilet in another spot but they chose to put a bidet there instead. Wasted space. Airconditioning worked well. No fridge. Check in was very impersonal by a young lady who seemed very uninterested in checking us in. Asked for our passports and didn’t give them back. Eventually we asked for them and were told she needed them to fill out a form and we could go to our room and come back later to collect. Not sure why she didn’t volunteer this info to start with. I went down later to pick up both and was told I couldn’t have my husband’s. He had to come down and sign her form! Again explaining their check in process at the beginning would have been helpful. We were not offered a map of the city and no recommendations forthcoming. We didn’t ask because she didn’t make us feel comfortable. Shame really because the rest of the staff on the desk during our 4 day stay were fabulous. Especially the young lady with curly hair. No name tags so can’t tell you her name and we forgot to ask when leaving. Checkout was easy and they ordered us a taxi. Very helpful young man. It’s a 3 star hotel and really good value for money. I would stay here again but ask for a room away from the street.…
