We chose this particular hotel for our two night stay in Granada for its location. It is in the centre of Granada and everything is in a walking distance surrounding the hotel. This hotel offers value for money.
This hotel is tired, jaded, unwelcoming and not very clean or well maintained. It is advertised as a four star hotel, yet the amenities were very poor. There was no actual welcome from the reception staff, we were simply 'processed'. We were given no information about the hotel or the area, just the key cards. Our room was shabby and noisy and we required a bathtub, so we asked to change. We were shown a number of rooms and all were of the same poor quality. The room we ended up with was not clean. The shower head, over the bath, was black with dirt and even the towel rails were dirty. The food and drink was of poor quality and the staff had no idea about customer service. I have never experienced such an impersonal stay in any other hotel in my life and my husband categorised the place as a dump! I must say, that I agree. We couldn't wait to leave.…
On a recent trip through Spain we atayed for one night at the Vincci Albazin Hotel in Granada. This is a comfortable hotel which is centrally situated. The rooms were average but reasonably comfortable.
This was probably once a grand hotel, alas it no longer it is but a mere shadow of a grand hotel The rooms are small, noisy and poorly maintained. The light fittings are sub-standard and cracked, he bathroom fixtures are all now crooked and threatening to fall off. The staff were not rude but not overly helpful and breakfast was well less than satisfactory While he location is excellent that would not be enough for me to consider a return visit
We came here to explore Granada & hotel is central and we were able to walk everywhere to access the sights. Hotel comfortable but soundproofing in rooms poor as we could every word our neighbours next door said! Bathroom tired, mould in grouting around base of shower, cover of shower drain loose & water very slow to drain but lots of hot water. There was no coffee in room & when we requested coffee sachets were told it was not possible. It was not possible to order coffee from room service yet it is available for breakfast in your room, odd! Bed huge as it was two large singles pushed together but not locked so moved apart slightly during the night, however there was a “pillow menu” so you could choose a pillow to suit your need but not a coffee menu! I would stay here again but would bring my own coffee as it is perfect for discovering the city!…
