I paid €41 for two nights for a single room with breakfast, which is great value. The breakfast was freshly made in a small cafeteria which is part of the hotel. There was an electric fan in my room, not that the heat is too bad in Granada. Hotel a stone's throw from the Cathedral. Very good WiFi. Could make more effort with little things found in other budget hotels without breaking the bank, like a plastic glass in the room or leaving two sachets of shower gel, not one, as I was there two nights. Also watch out that breakfast is served from 9:00. This is completely normal in Spain. Just don't book your Palacio Nazaries visit for 8:30!
Go somewhere else if you can. Everything is old from the floor to the celling. The bed is really bad, the blanket from another age, no plug next to your bed. The price for a bed in a dorm was 30€ ? I still don't know why? I mean this place is creppy. If i was in the middle of nowhere in India i will be not surprise, but here in Grenada how this place can still exist. I travel a lot in my life and i will say that i'm an easygoing guy but this is unreal. My advice , don't pay for that place
We slept only one night on our way back home. The pension (hostel) was nice, much better than we tought. Our double room was at the third floor (no elevator) and the stairs to the last floor were very narrow, so be careful expecially if you are going to carry heavy luggages. The room had two single beds, one small TV, free wifi and a bathroom. The plumbing system of the bathroom needs restauration. The room was very noise during the night. I suggest this hostal only if you find room for good price (not more than 15 euro for night). The location is very good, 5 minutes walk to the cathedral and 10 minutes walk from the bus stop to the Bus Station or Airport Bus.
The staff was extremely nice and attentive. The room was clean. The balcony was nice and spacious. The location was great. Although, The bed felt like it was lower in the middle. The room wasn’t cleaned we were there and the first day we had just one almost finished toilet paper roll. The street was very noisy.
The young man in reception was very helpful. That was the only good thing. The place smelt really badly, the rooms were disgusting and the noise from inside and outside was atrocious. Even people arguing and fighting in the rooms. We did no sleep all night. It was so bad that we couldn't even have the breakfast in the morning. I don't know where the advertising photographs came from but, they are totally misleading as this place is nothing like that and is more akin to a doss house. There were no headboards on the beds, the curtains were hanging off the pole and the decor is tatty. Paint peeling off the windows and walls. The roof terrace is nothing like the advertising photos either, it is totally run down. We only stayed because we were tired from travelling all day but, never ever again. Avoid this place. …
