This a fab little boutique hotel in a great location in central Granada. The welcome was lovely and friendly and they had sent us directions for the car park before we arrived. Our room was huge and well insulated from the Friday night noise of central Granada! We had one of the larger rooms with a huge corner bath, but it was a bit strange having the shower in the bath which resulted in the floor getting soaking wet from the spray! Lovely afternoon tea served in the library with homemade cake - yum, plus a kettle and tea and coffee in the bedroom. Breakfast served on a communal table in the cellars with a nice choice of continental and eggs cooked to order if you asked. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
This is a lovely, small boutique hotel - tastefully decorated and located right near the centre of town without all the 'touristy' bits. The young staff are all very diligent and helpful, the rooms comfortable and well appointed (if a little dark if you want to read) and the breakfast with fantastic choice of food, served (buffet style) in the old water cellars - which is pretty interesting. There is a small, comfortable library area where tea and cake is served each afternoon and a cool, Riad-like central area surrounded by the mezzanine balconies to the upper floors.
If you bus from the airport to Garanat Hotel, it will take about 30 minutes. Our room was ready ahead of schedule, and they let us go ahead and check-in; thank you! While our room was smaller than many (by choice), it was lovely. Shower was very small, so I did not have enough room to shave my head since I couldn't raise my arms in the shower. Ha! Unfortunately, the bed was lumpy and the room was hot. The AC did not work, but it was a little too noisy to open double paned windows to cool down the room. All in all, no big deal, and a lovely boutique hotel.
The hotel is well situated in central Granada. Safe sorroundings and clean and nice rooms. The staff is very helpfull and nice and we almost felt that we had found new friends in Alba, Carmen and their colleagues.
We stayed in Granada for 3 nights at gar anat, our room was on the 2nd floor, there was absolutely no street noise at all. The hotel was excellent, the bathroom was huge, the room was neat, clean and spacious. Have to mention a couple of things, the girl who received us at the reception was exceptional, she explained ya the entire map of Granada, restaurants, things to do etc even offered us to book tickets for Alhambra. She started was explaining a little history of the hotel bich is quite interesting. The tea/coffee service in the library is pretty nice. The hotel is well situated, walking distance to sites n bars. The housekeeping was exceptional, not only was my room cleaned but also all the things left on the desk and bathroom were arranged and sorted. You rarely come across such service. Definitely would stay here again.…
