we were here for two night in a twin room, room was comfortable and clean if a little small, beds were a little narrow for me but decent sleep was had, quiet rooms. free on street parking. no breakfast option but plenty of options around. host nice a friendly. good free wifi.
The location is great, close to the Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba, in a very beautiful antique house, with a patio. Almost all the attractions of Cordoba are in a walking range. The owners are very nice and helpful.
We had a nice stay here and the owners were welcoming if not overly warm. The place is nice old Cordoba building with a covered traditional courtyard. It is a very cheap place to stay and very clean and quitet - I would recommend as it is very good value but this a basic accommodation. My only criticism would be that it does feel very dated in the decoration and interior - this was my least favourite hotel during our travels in Andalusia - my advice to the owners would be to get some advice and do the place up a bit to make it feel fresher and more attractive stay. If they do this I would rate it Excellent. Having said this, it is very good value and this shouldn't stop you booking - just manage your expectations.
This is a difficult review to write....... It is a cheap pension not a more expensive hotel. My single room was very small (with a good size private bathroom) with enough room for a bed, a small chair & a small table. It was clean and, for the price, perfectly acceptable. There was a juliet balcony which was good to have. The bathroom was well-fitted, clean and with a good size private shower. The owners were pleasant and welcoming. I was there for three nights and got little sleep for the first two!!! This ISN'T the fault of the owners. There was a group of loud people in the pedestrian lane outside the hotel. It sounded like some kind of party. They kept up a constant noise until gone midnight which made sleep impossible. Then, after I had finally nodded off, a smaller group passed by at about 4 o'clock waking me up again. This left me struggling for the rest of the day. Even on the third night cat fights broke my sleep more than once. It's difficult to complain about an otherwise OK place that was spoiled by things beyond their control. It's in easy walking distance of the modern shopping area and the older extremely attractive historical sites.…
This is a lovely"olde worlde" pension in a beautiful city. Location is excellent, safe area with plenty of local coffee shops and close to the river, within walking distance of town centre. The house is very clean, quiet, owners very pleasant and helpful. Check out the fantastic huge jig-saw puzzles on the walls! No breakfast option, no frills but a very enjoyable stay and very economical.
