When booking I was torn between here or somewhere more convenient to the station, and let me tell you I am so glad I picked here. The location is just wonderful, right in the heart of old town Dresden. This will be obvious if you have been to Dresden before, but if not let me tell you this is truly ideal. The room was standard fare for a chain hotel, well furnished and definitely clean. Very nice customer service, but seem a little more confident in German than the are in English (but I still got help with most of my questions). My only complaint is that the sheets come loose very easy, much more than I have found at any other hotel. I think they either need to change their bed-making technique or their sheets, because it really was a bother.

Located directly at Neumarkt it is impossible to find a more central hotel in Dresden: Bars, restaurants and shopping is literally just around the corner. Clean, spacious and high-ceilinged room and OK bath room, it has what you need - and not a lot more. Beds are big with great, firm mattresses, so sleeping quality is good. Breakfast is OK, but not overwhelming, and you can have both continental buffet and English breakfast. Despite the hotel's small size, the service is rather impersonal: You're just another customer- not a welcome guest.

This hotel is close to Dresden centre so ideal for sightseeing. The hotel staff were very helpful and the accommodation was as expected for a modern hotel. The 'bar' is somewhat small but suited our needs and the excellent breakfast was served in the restaurant opposite which is much bigger.

Great location in the middle of everything, Zwinger, opera house, newly renovated castle, riversude cafes, steam boats, Frauenkirch, art museum, restaurants, etc. Had stayed there before, comfy beds, air conditioning, spacious shower. Not very clean though. They try to have you waive all cleanimg and when you don't, say nonchalantly "We won't vlean tomorrow anyway, rhat's the way it is these days*. You arrive to a room and bath room which hasn't seen a good cleaning for a long rime. Our neighbors, travelling with small kids, were not amused either. Breakfast at Vapiano"s in the same building was as lousy as it was last time, should have made a note not to book it. The hotel staff is aware of this. Unlike of the dirt ... In fact, they get the blame for failed communication and would prefer to offer a different restaurant. Amedia ahares a parkin garage with the Hyperion, but it's € 29 per day. Thus, the receptionist recommended to move the car to another parking garage. Semper Oper charged € 6 per day, walking distance.

Located right at the center of the old town a few meters away from the Frauenkirche. In fact a few of the rooms would have the Frauenkirche as their view. Rooms are specious and ideal if you have large luggage’s. Bed is very specious as well. Shower though was very tight and there were times I thought that the enclosure would give way. Staff is very helpful as well every time we would require their assistance.

This is not a hotel in the general sense but an Aparthotel/Accommodation hotel and as such, offers attractive, clean rooms in a nice part of the city. There is a large reception area with pleasant staff but it does not have a lounge or bar, although you can get a drink from a small area attached to the reception. There is no kitchen but there is an arrangement with a Vapiano restaurant in the same building for breakfast. I have stayed on five occasions and will probably stay another five as it it is ideally located for sightseeing, surrounded by nice places to eat and has a quirkiness to it and of its type, it is very pleasant. Why fours stars and not five.....I wish they would dispense with the red in the rooms.

The hotel is described perfectly on trip advisor. I didnt buy the breakfast preferring to buy something from a local bakery. The bedrooms are modern and the bathrooms are spacious. There is a terrace on the 5th floor which is a great sun trap in the summer.

Location, location, location - it's right in the centre of the action. Room were spacious and clean. Staff was welcoming and polite. They could only change room doors as you can hear every sound from the corridor - not ideal when you're staying next to the lift. Also, plan ahead when coming with a car as hotel carpark and nearby underground garage are very expensive. Alternative is to park in the underground carpark of the Opera. Overall good stay for one night to see Dresden.

The location is ideal, near to main tourist attractions. However the hotel does not meet by far a 4* hotel expectations: small room, missing parking place and unprofessional (almost rude) stuff at the reception.
