An excellent hotel, walking distance to St Tropez, yet quiet, discreet and discerning in nature.
The property has been extensively renovated and whilst the rooms are not huge, they are extremely well appointed and the use of the space is very good indeed.
The staff are excellent across the board and the whole experience felt very personalised. In particular our daughter was very well taken care of, from bespoke requests for breakfast to the presents she was given, or just the way the staff engaged with her, everything was great which made our holiday all the more enjoyable
The concierge have good connections into all the local restaurants and were very helpful in arranging babysitting for us, and we appreciated the courtesy car into town.
Housekeeping was good and always undertaken immediately once we left the room.
The food here is excellent at all levels. La Vague D’or was a special experience but we equally enjoyed having lunch at Les Terrassses during the afternoon.
The hotel is unique for the area in that it has its own private beach and a large pool and the views across the bay are outstanding.
Lastly the Spa was great.
This is very much a boutique hotel, with only about 30 rooms and consequently feels extremely private - you would often go through the day without seeing other guests except by the pool, beach or restaurant. It is great for children, our 2-year old thoroughly enjoyed her stay and as parents we felt at ease.
This was our first stay here but will certainly not be our last

Owned by the LVMH group, it comes as no surprise Cheval Blanc's foray into high fashion meets hospitality has procured iconic destinations and created a unique experience for it's guests. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms elegant and well appointed, the facilities are unsurpassed, the views picturesque and the experience is unforgettable. My stay here thus far has been nothing less than remarkable. From the service to the accommodations, this resort is next level!
There's a restrained elegance that radiates throughout every space within these sprawling grounds. I booked the Sea Suite as it captivated me with the alluring images and beautiful views online. I was attracted to the modern yet classically elegantly adorned rooms with warm tones throughout with a hint of nautical blue inspired by the Côte d'Azur. Typically I'm underwhelmed when i see the actual room, but not here. When i stepped into my room i was very impressed by how beautifully appointed the room was. Every detail was carefully thought out from the automated bidet in the powder room to the automated sun shade/guard wall (so you feel safe leaving your patek and birkins in the room) From the cozy yet stylish furniture to even the smallest items throughout the property, no detail is left unnoticed in order to make your stay uniquely special. It's these thoughtful design features and whimsical details that make you feel pampered.
Housing a three Michelin Star restaurant at the hotel is no easy feat either but they have achieved that honor as well and it is well deserved. The cuisine was exquisite and service as expected was unparalleled.
They kindly communicated months before my stay to ensure my accommodations were to my liking. They assisted in making reservations for me to the local beach clubs which was incredibly helpful, as well.
With that said, If you're looking for an unforgettable getaway in St Tropez, I can't imagine you choosing any other resort than Cheval Blanc. The accommodations comes at a hefty price tag but the experience is truly priceless!

Like the other Cheval Blanc properties we have visited, the caliber of their St Tropez location is top-notch. It’s a smaller property and a snug fit at this popular French Mediterranean destination. The staff is superb and the suite we had was spacious. We always appreciate the delightful Cheval Blanc accoutrements and treats bestowed upon guests. The fact that we are acknowledged by name by most of the staff never ceases to amaze us! You really feel like part of a family. The hotel also is attentive answering questions and addressing interests and issues in a very timely manner. We adored our room and the view it had over the dining area to the sea. The large pine trees that shelter the dining courtyard are incredibly majestic. The beach area and pool are both small and we are not fond of crowded areas or devoting hours to tanning; we much preferred exploring St. Tropez and journeying to nearby activities. I will say, however, the sea water here is quite warm! One thing to be aware of, the traffic getting to and from St. Tropez is abysmal. It’s like a single lane big-city. Fortunately, if you’re not traveling too far, the hotel has a complimentary Bentley to ferry you to your destination. If, on the other hand, you are like most of the guests, you may decide to just while away your days lounging by the pool. Regardless, Cheval Blanc St. Tropez is a sanctuary to savor.

Cheval Blanc St Tropez is my favorite of all the Cheval Blanc we visited. The position is just perfect with a small private beach,. Normal rooms are very small so go for a suite. Breakfast is incomparable to anything else you have experienced. We go there sometimes and skip dinner the night before just to enjoy the spectacular service and quality of the large choice you can have for breakfast. La Vague D’Or is the cherry on the cake (bravo to the Chef !)

We stayed here for a week in July and had a wonderful stay. The staff go above and beyond to help with reservations, and really anything you may need. The food and restaurant on property were incredible. Location doesn't get much better. The rooms were a bit on the small side (they didn't have any suites for us to upgrade to), however they were elegant and updated. We had an amazing stay and will be back.

On the big picture a good hotel .
But too staid and parisian service , sometimes leading to arrogant staff .
Breakfast average . Mainly bread , miss omelet , miss pain perdu .
Shuttle service only to downtown . You want to head to Ramatuelle by the afternoon , then you have to book a taxi ( unacceptable at 2000/2700€ per night ) .
Concierge has limited power : can't book l'opera Artbat , can't book Loulou , Gigi on a friday and saturday afternoon .
All in all not worth the price .
Next year lou pinet or Messardiere

Cher Hôte, Thank you very much for your review which we have read with detail and concern. We truly apologize for the service shortcomings and thank you for raising them so that we can continue to work with our teams to be even more attentive to every guests’ specific needs. We are sorry about the inconvenience during your breakfast, it is indeed our standard to offer bread, omelet and pain perdu to our guests and this was obviously missed in your case and we apologize. Like most hotels in Saint-Tropez, we do not offer a shuttle service out of the city centre for logistical reasons and we are sorry that booking a taxi was a disappointment for you. Finally, we are sincerely sorry that the Conciergerie was unable to accommodate all your requests. It is true that during the very high season, some tables are very difficult to book in last minute in the most popular restaurants. Our dedicated and very friendly team strives to create a warm and welcoming environment, cherished by our many repeat guests and we deeply sorry you didn't feel that way. We thank you once again for having taken the time to share your experience with us and wish you a lovely summer ahead, Kind regards, Olivier Raveyre General Manager

We have been lucky to explore the world, and stay in some outsandingly good hotels, but Cheval Blanc St Tropez really is something quite special and redefines luxury hospitalty.
We stayed for a couple of nights, and found our visit outstanding. Sure its not cheap, but the level of service and attention to detail on offer is superb and worth every penny. From frst arrival, the warm welcome and every point of contact wth staff throughout the trip s exemplary and second to none. Dinner at the 3 Michelin stars La Vague d’Or restaurant was a standout of our trip and truely one of the best meals we have ever eaten. Our only mistake was not to book a longer stay.
We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We look forward to a return visit next year.

The service was impeccable, the hotel beautiful and lovely private sandy beach. Each day a little cake and Guerlain skincare product was left in our suite. Such a treat! And the service on the beach was magical….water, drinks, sunglass cleaning, towel refreshing, they were on it. Will definitely stay here again. Oh, and having a complimentary hotel shuttle that is a Bentley SUV was icing on the cake.

From the moment you arrive to departure you are pampered in every regard. The hotel is beautiful with a blend of traditional and contemporary design. The details in the room and whole property are truly impressive and worthy of a hotel owned by LVMH. From the leather details in the room to the products offered in the chic marble bathroom are all impressive. The rooms was delightful with a beautiful view. Breakfast was divine and the whole staff was superb. Cheval Blanc is now in a category with Aman and Four Seasons properties and we look forward to trying the Paris hotel in November. This is the place to stay in St. Tropez, it is walkable to town and is perfect. Of note is we travelled with our dog and they could not have been kinder and spoiled her as well. Well done Cheval Blanc.

Absolutely stunning! The staff are the most friendly people ever and really do make you feel special! If you are considering cheval blanc absolutely go you won’t regret it one bit and will instantly fall in love with the hotel even if it’s for lunch. The food is absolutely delicious and the menu is fantastic I am very particular about my food and there were many options on the menu which sounded scrumptious and was very hard to choose what I wanted to eat. The hotel is all about how you want it, which is how all hotels should be. This hotel is an unforgettable experience please pay a visit

I am sorry but I am not able to answer this question
Pets are allowed in the rooms. I came with my cat and everything went all right. I'm quite sure they're not allowed in the restaurant which is a 3* restaurant. I think I remember a client walking by with its dog but it didn't stay on the beach. I guess the best is to ask directly the management of the hotel who is pleasant and welcoming.
Bonjour,
Could you send us your private email adress and phone number on reservation@ residencepinede. com. We will get back to you with a reservation offer promptly.
Best regards,
Olivier Raveyre
