Dear all, With all my pleasure I will write about Magic Oceans. It's so amazing you've never seen before. It's real magic there. First my compliments are going out to Arie, Desiree, Eef, Zeny and the staff for their kindness and giving me a splended holiday ! In a moment of time they all know your name and that feels like one big family. The drinkings, especialy for me Red Horse :-) (Beer) the shakes and the explended kitchen are examples to be named! The rooms are clean and sleeping is perfect! There is a shouer with warm water inside. So after another warm day you can fresh you up. After a day of diving you can eat all together at one table and share your adventures of the day. ALso that is real magic. There are daytrips organized. One is Camiquin Island. Very beautiful to…
We stayed here for the second week in February after a 9 hour journey from Malapascua. Just as an extra thought, for those of you who would prefer a more comfortable seat on the ferry from Cebu, it would be worth spending 500 pesos extra to go in the business class, rather than sit on the hard plastic chairs for the two hour crossing. We didn't realise that and wished that we had more comfortable chairs!! Anyway, back to the resort! We had a very warm welcome by the staff and the staff continued to provide friendly service throughout the week. The bungalows are only 7 months old and are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large, but like Magic Island at Moalboal, Cebu only soap is provided so bring any shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion if you don't want to…
first, the room (bungalow) is very spacious. the room can accommodate three adults easily since they add a large day bed into the room. the little oversize bathroom is also very comfortable, two can take a shower at the same time ! water is hot, a/c is cool, mini bar is refilled everyday, room is serviced everyday, five stars for this part. restaurant, i think you should go for full board if you are a big eater. they give you more than enough to eat. you can even ask for anything extra you want. for small eaters, go for a la cart. however, full board saves you a trouble of deciding what to order ! breakfast...breakfast, i love breakfast. it is included. everything is good. coffee is super strong. don't have three cups otherwise you will be swimming fast and being ahead of the…
After being successful for many years with Magic Island in Moalboal Cebu, the owners Arie and Desiree decided to open another resort, Magic Oceans. Together with manager Eef and the entire staff, they managed to create another great resort with that “Magic” feeling. I have visited Magic Island twice, and I can say the feeling I got at Magic Oceans is the same. The staff is very friendly, from the first day they know your name and they do their best to make your stay very comfortable. The cook served me delicious vegetarian meals with lots of fresh veggies. The rooms are very big, with a fridge and coffee making facilities. The resort looks very nice with lots of plants with even a “red fruit” Robinson tree! You can just relax on your balcony with a coffee or relax with a…
We (2 couples) stayed late Aug 2015 in chalets 11 & 12 overlooking the lovely pool and the sea. CHALETS: - Individual with lovely balcony (chairs, coffee table & drying rack). - Bed: king size. - Bathroom: modern, large shower, hot water, ok water pressure. - Air Con: whisper quiet, efficient. - Drinking Water: ample, supplied to room daily. - Daybed, desk, chair, shelves and hanging space, safe, mini bar & fridge, kettle, pedestal fan. - No TV, radio, clock, alarm, phone. Was slight issue for friends as they did not bring any electronic devices inc. phones so they had no system for alarm or wake up calls. RESORT: - Staff: speak English, great service with a smile. - Food: we paid for ‘Full Board’ (FB) & food was excellent. A La Carte menu for all meals. Dinner you could also…
Brand new (spring 2015) it has everything a diver wants! Spacious luxuruous cabins, great food, lovely staff and amazing dive sites, especially for macro. The diving centre has everything you need, including all the needs for your camera. The boats are fast and most of the divesites nearby. Food was very good and the cocktail menu too large to try them all in one stay. A lovely swimmingpool (incl pooltowels and sunbeds). I was homesick to this place after leaving and wil surely return here.
We had a 10 day stay which ended approx two weeks ago. All staff, without exception, were a pleasure to interact with. Their brand of customer service was always service with a smile. Our cottage was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the food very much, and I as a vegetarian, felt I was well catered for. Meals were tasty, fun communal affairs, and even snacks had a gourmet touch about them - thanks Chefs. We thoroughly enjoyed our diving, and found the dive centre to be very well organised, and its staff and dive boat crews were efficient, friendly and helpful. Top marks, Guys.
We had a great stay. The resort was open for just 4 weeks, but everything was excellent. The rooms are spacious with a king size bed and is kept very clean, the rooms have wifi, a refrigerator and a table for your camera equipment. The food is delicious and the crew are doing their very best to make you comfortable, so you can have a perfect stay at the resort. The diving is very divers with different kind of reefs. Slopes, walls and sand with nice creatures crawling in the sand. The reeftops are beautiful and there's a lot of variety in marine life. There is a nice housereef for nightdiving. We really felt at home at the resort and we definitely will be back.
As being een regular visitor (7 times! Family of three) of the other dive resort of this owner, Magic Island in Moalboal on Cebu island, we were very curious to visit their newly opened resort Magic Oceans in Anda, Bohol. Its open for just 7 weeks now. Because of our good experiences in Magic Island, our expectations were quite high, but they all came thru. The resort is situated directly at the coast (no beach) in a lovely garden with plenty of shade with only the sounds of nature. Most of the cabins (philippino style) are around een large swimming pool. The cabins are spacious with a large kingsize and one single bed (good matrasses). Spacious bathroom with large walk in shower with hot water. Everything is very clean. The atmosphere in the resort is very friendly. The whole…
