We really liked it... certainly the room is not huge, but the garden, the swimming pool, and the restaurant have a lot of charm...
Beach 50 meters away, absolute calm (except for a few roosters...) charming welcome... (thank you Rizza, who knows everything and solves everything...and who is adorable)
We would have happily stayed longer... (a small unforeseen planning problem but which Rizza resolved with professionalism.)
An excellent address in Anda

+1
It is a pretty resort with a sunny swimming pool in a lush setting, varied choice for breakfast, good restaurant dishes too, close to Talisey beach with lots of boats, at low tide you can go to quinale beach or to the center from Anda or on the other side at White Beach where I recommend the Old Plantation restaurant which is excellent! Otherwise, it is doable on foot by road but it is better to have a scooter.
A criticism all the same because there was work right next door on the path and the hotel had not warned us so that when we disembark after a long journey we want to rest... pleasant staff, however the manager a very commercial smile..

We arrived at sunset without reservations. Lisa the manager was all smiles which contrasted with a larger local resort. The room was clean and quiet with an excellent air conditioner. Food was market dependent and well prepared. I can not say enough positive things about our three night stay. Great beach access.

Love this place! So glad we chose to stay here for New Year. They even had fireworks!
The resort is just 2 minutes away from the beach. It's also a few meters away from Cabagnow Cave. But if you just want to stay and chill by the resort, this is the perfect place. So cozy. Staff was very accommodating and friendly too. We'll definitely be back.

We visited Cabagnow Seaside Resort in Anda Bohol with the children. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The FRONT DESK STAFF are UNPLEASANT especially if you are Filipino, discrimination against locals or Filipinos by the resort staff is unacceptable. Bohol is one of the tourist spots, your staff should know the tourism in Bohol (local foods, means of transportation, transportation fares, safe spots for tourists, etc..). Your “AMBOT” or “I don’t know” is not acceptable.
The Gazebo has no ceiling fans in the reception area, the absence of a ceiling fan in the gazebo can make it uncomfortable for guests, especially in hot weather conditions in the Philippines. Providing adequate ventilation and cooling options in outdoor spaces is important for guest comfort and should be a priority for any hotel or resort. Second, there is NO INSTALLED BASIN for hand washing in the dining area where they serve food.
It sounds like there are several issues with the amenities and facilities at Cabagnow Seaside Resort. Despite its name suggesting a seaside location, the lack of a beach is misleading and disappointing for guests expecting a clean coastal experience. There is NO BEACH. There is a walking distance beach which is NOT a SWIMMING AREA because of the garbage, plastic, mud, stray dogs and cats, and it is privately owned and NOT owned by the Cabagnow Seaside Resort. The presence of fishers and their boats nearby contributes to a less serene atmosphere for those seeking relaxation by the sea. It's possible that the government of Anda could work to address these issues, coordinating beach cleanup efforts, or managing the activity of fishers in the area.
The community is NOT SAFE for tourists either local or foreign due to the behavior of some locals. We were attacked by a drunk local individual while eating dinner with our children near the Cabagnow Seaside Resort. Harassment by drunk individuals along the streets is a serious issue that the hotel and local authorities of Anda Bohol should address promptly to ensure the SAFETY and comfort of all tourists. The street going to that resort is very dark, with no street lighting.
This might be helpful to share our experience and warn other potential guests about these issues and also prompt the hotel management to address them. Hotels and resorts need to prioritize cleanliness and guest comfort to ensure a positive experience for all visitors.
The pool is NOT CLEAN and small as expected, we found a FROG in the swimming pool, It is certainly not something one would expect and is likely a hygiene concern. Their rooms have many army ants and one small cockroach. This is certainly concerning and suggests a lack of proper pest control measures. Possibly the lack of guests contributes to pest issues, as proper maintenance might not be as frequent when occupancy is low. However, maintaining cleanliness and pest control should be a standard regardless of occupancy.
These are significant shortcomings that should be addressed by the resort management to improve the overall guest experience. Providing accurate amenities, maintaining comfort in outdoor spaces, and ensuring basic hygiene facilities are essential for any hospitality establishment.

Gracias!
