We were in Lourdes for the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes on 11th February and stayed at the Saint Sauveur. It was excellent- courteous, friendly staff who answered all questions with a smile. We ate in the restaurant and the brassiere and both were excellent. On first glance the brassiere looks small but they have tables and chairs just behind the bar. Rooms were spotlessly clean. The hotel and its sister hotel next door the Panorama are close to the grotto so it was just lovely to dander down - it took all of 2 minutes. When we return would hope to
Upon check in Diogo was very helpful and guided us carefully. The room was lovely, with modern bathroom ,comfortable beds and spacious. Breakfast staff were helpful not forgetting the housekeeping lady who took care of 4th floor. Everyone passing by had that sweet smile and said‘Bonjour’ which gave us the feeling that help is always at hand. Hotel is close to the grotto. Even the female receptionist (sorry I did not get her name) on the desk was helpful who helped us in calling a taxi. Only disappointment was, a fuss that the staff in the caffe made on giving us a couple of tea bags and replied rudely instead of explaining politely. He inturn sent us to the bar. We were sent there by the reception to ask the tea bags, we never went on our own. The lady in the bar happily helped. Hence a 4 ⭐️, but that won’t stop us from booking this place again and recommending it. A little bit of more customer service and the hotel can be a 4 ⭐️ and u would love to see this happen. Best wishes, Ciny and family.…
We stayed 3 nights at Saint Sauveur. Apart from being so close to the grotto, it was very clean, good breakfast and nice staff. We had the quadruple room which actually consists of 2 rooms on split level and 2 bathrooms. Facing throad to the grotto. Very nice area , restaurants etc.... I would highly recommend this hotel. M. Super helpful staff. Best hotel staff i have ever experienced. The room reserved for us was a 4 bedroom duplex which was perfect for us. It had a great view and came with 2 private toilets which was a boon.
Even before you flew into Lourdes. Cindy and Diogo at the front desk helped me so much with recommendations, maps, queries, restaurants, etc. Even whilst we were there they helped us a GREAT BIG DEAL. The hotel is located so close to the sanctuary that you can see it from your room. Lots of eateries and souvenir shops around. Lovely atmosphere We had a duplex room with a lovely view. The beds and super comfortable. It was nice to have both options of a shower and a bath. We never had the in-house breakfast so can’t comment on that element. If we come to Lourdes again. We will definitely stay in this hotel again.
Great location, excellent restaurant for dinner or snacks. Staff spoke many languages and were very polite. The room was nice and clean. Mattress was perfect. Pillow could be a bit better. Breakfast was also very nice, many options. Walking distance to the sanctuary. I would recommend this place.
Very nice hotel i would recommend. Good and warm welcome from Inesat the front desk who attended us very well. Nice hotle and vey nice staff. As we say , cleanliness is next to holiness. Not far from the major holy sites. Animated area, nice people, nice restaurant and breakfast too. We would surely return.
I had a very relaxing weekend stay at the Saint Sauveur. The location is excellent - only a couple of minutes walk to the sanctuary. The staff were very helpful. The room was bright and cleaned daily.
Staff was very helpful and friendly and called for Taxi when we left. Room was clean with daily room service. We stayed 4 nights. Breakfast was ok with juice and ham, cheese and boiled egg. We tried some Indian/Sri lankan food places walking 15 minutes up the hill. Lourdes Grotto was 10 minutes walk which is the reason we selected this hote.
