Such a cute hotel! The front staff as a group was really easy to deal with especially considering our inability to speak French. But Gabriella, and Victorstood out as super helpful! Just as an example Gabriella saw us at 6am in the metro for our first time. We were confused how to purchase train tickets and she came up to us and helped us get going, and Victor went out of his way to be friendly and get also get us glasses for my birthday champagne. Thank you both! The room was amazing, so cute and cozy. The view was alright and the room was very quiet from the street. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and other than jet lag we had no issues sleeping. The only downsides to our stay was that it seems as though some of the advertised amenities (i.e. room service) were actually not available, the breakfast fid not really seem to be worth the a la carte cost, amd some awkward housekeeping issues ( we only had on coffee cup in the room and a second one wasn't provided. The location is awesome though. With access to transportation both public and taxi easily available. The neighborhood is very neat with so many places to eat we just walked aimlessly and picked whatever spot look good for any meal. This was an amazing trip!

We stayed for four nights in a suite on the fifth floor and in most respects this hotel was ideal. The room was ENORMOUS by Parisian standards so that was great for our family of three. There was plenty of storage space and room for our luggage. It was also quiet with very comfortable beds. We didn’t actually use the large tub but the shower had decent water pressure. There were also nice little touches like daily macarons or madeleines supplied. The front desk was also helpful and organised extra pillows and for an external shutter to be closed on the light well so that we could sleep better.

The location is also good. Any easy walk to the Seine and metro stops. There is also a really handy bus route outside the hotel that can get you to Montparnasse or the D’Orsay. The area itself doesn’t have quite the neighbourhood feel of, say, the Marais but we knew that going in.

So why not five stars? The toilet for one. It was in a tiny space separate to the main bathroom. Usually a separate toilet is a good thing but because this one wasn’t well ventilated and opened straight into the bed area … well, smelly! We also had to chase housekeeping for enough toilet paper. The main bathroom had no privacy - the shower and basin were fully open to the suite. And we were travelling with a teenager who was not thrilled by that at all! So maybe for a couple that design would be fine but it didn’t quite fit us.

Le Lapin Blanc was a real treat for our visit to Paris. It is perfectly situated 3 mins walk from nearest train station and on the border between St Germain area and Latin quarter, so access to both areas really easy. The rooms are big and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price, although we didn't take advantage of this as we wanted to go out for breakfast. The staff at the hotel could not have been more friendly or helpful - we would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Rooms facing the road do experience some noise from traffic/street but this may be the case for most hotels in central Paris - we stayed in the suite on top floor which was lovely and quiet. Thank you all staff at Le Lapin Blanc for a most enjoyable stay.

The property was visually clean. It is pretty well located near the center of Paris. I had a lovely chat with the receptionist when I arrived. The breakfast was very good. The staff was generally very friendly and helpful. My interior room was very quiet, despite being on a very busy street. the bed was comfortable and the room was plenty big for me.

When I got to my room, I did the bedbug check that I do at every hotel. All was clean for the pillows and duvet. When I pulled back the duvet, I saw a one centimeter dark spot on the mattress protector. I could see it through the bottom sheet. Obviously, the person who changed the sheets would have been able to as well. Pulling off the bottom sheet it became clear it was period blood. I thought about just flipping it over because I didn’t see any other evidence of bedbugs, my primary concern, but decided that was gross. I called downstairs and the receptionist apologetically brought up a team to switch it out. On the new mattress protector, I found washed out black spots that could have been from stains old bedbug excretions, which freaked me out because there could still be eggs. The receptionist told me it was the last mattress protector they had so I asked her if they had a dryer on the property. They do so I asked her to put it in on high for 90 min. That should kill any possible bugs or eggs and was the best option I had in that circumstance. It made my stay quite stressful for the first four days until I concluded that I wasn’t getting any bites and was probably safe from bugs. Given the circumstance, hotel staff did what they could to alleviate my concerns. Bedbugs are a reality at hotels. I had a bedbug sniffing dog check my luggage when I got home from my month long trip and I didn’t pick up any so fortunately my story ends well but it was a stressful few days.

As other reviewers suggested, the shower did leak. You could put some wide tape on the shower door to help with that. Or just ask for more towels.

Aside from the stress of possible bedbugs, my stay at this hotel was very nice. I felt safe. If I wasn’t so concerned about bugs, I would stay there again, but I am.

Dear client Leeping1, Thank you for taking time to leave a review, we are pleased to know that your stay was good and sorry to hear about the stain founded, usually all the team is very careful about cleaning nevertheless we will speak with them so that this doesn't happen again. About the bedbugs happily we haven't had in the hotel, we do revisions constantly and the teams have been trained to detect so that we can act fast in case they arrive to the hotel, but as mentioned before, it has never been the case. Our excuses for your concerns, although, we are happy to know that after few days noticing that there were no bed bugs at the hotel you could relax and enjoy your stay at the hotel, and to know that the staff was always helpful to alleviate your concerns. We wish you a good day! Hotel le lapin blanc

We were looking forward to our stay at the Lapin Blanc. The location of the hotel is just perfect. Within minutes from the Metro, the RER and boulevard Saint-Germain, it is hard to find a better location to visit Paris. That is however, where the advantage of staying at the Lapin Blanc ends. We do not mind cozy hotels with few ressources but there is a limit. The elevator is minuscule and certainly not sufficient to serve a building that has a total of 8 levels, including the sub-levels. Waiting for the elevator has proven frustrating. The design of our room was also quite bizarre and impractical. Entrance is through the bathroom, eliminating any possibility of intimacy.

Although the hotel staff was kind enough, it is clear that the hotel is understaffed and that the staff members are less than adequately trained. Most did not understand our basic demands and did not understand when we needed to point out a problem. In case you wonder, we are both fluent in French, which happens to be our mother tongue. Here is a list of mises, that is certainly not exhaustive:

• No new toilet paper
• Coffee cups left soiled
• No new coffee for coffee machine
• Garbage pail not emptied and left prominently on bed
• TV not working (we had to figure out how to turn it on). Staff was incapable of operating it
• Sleeping pillow mysteriously disappears and is replaced by a tiny throw pillow
• Despite a clear verbal request to clean the room asap given at 10am, the room was not cleaned at 4:00 pm
• Amenities (soap, shampoo) never replaced

We are sorry to say that this hotel is not at all worth the cost of the rooms. If it were a youth hostel for 50 Euros a night, I would still expect better service

Dear Canning, Thank you for taking your time to write your third review, Cleaning has not been forgotten, the rooms for customers on "arrival" of the day have priority, which is why generally the maintenance of the rooms present is done in the afternoon. This explains the toilet paper refill which is done at the same time as the cleaning. The technical problem that appeared on your television was resolved within the hour. We are a small hotel of 30 rooms with a team corresponding to that, the organization is not the same as in larger hotels. We are sorry that this has made your stay with us terrible, because as you can see from the other comments, the service and cleaning is not a negative point with us. We have only one size of pillow so we are surprise. all the problems you have encountered are related to the maintenance of the rooms in the afternoon. Your comparison to a hostel service is misplaced and very unconstructive. You cannot compare the size of the elevetor in the old bulding, of an elevator to Canadian criteria. Our staff speak english and french with a accent that is true, but all the other customers didn't complain about it. We have a hotel concept, and you can see all pictures when you booked, again we don't understand your suprise. We hope that you will fond a hotel that will meet your needs, Best regards Julie

This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. We paid a lot of money to stay here and it did not live up to what we expected at all. The only redeeming qualities was the fantastic location and the good air conditioning.

We were in a "Superior" room, I would hate to see what a standard room was. Our carpet was covered in stains and the carpet in the hallway and up the stairs was so dirty and covered in stains. It was disgusting.

We were given one robe (for two people) and the robe had huge holes in the sleeves and collar. The towel rack fell off the wall while we were there as well.

I couldn't find a hairdryer in the room. I asked the front desk for a hair dryer and I was told the hotel was full so there were no hair dryers left and therefore I had to wait until someone checked out. When I asked again the next day, I was told the hairdryer was in a hidden compartment under the desk. Complete lack of knowledge and communication by the different staff members.

However, the biggest issue we had was that our electronic door to our room broke. They couldn't get any key to work. The first night we got there (after traveling and being awake for over 24 hours) we got back to the hotel and couldn't get into the room. The front desk person came up and tried to fix it. We stood outside our room for 20 minutes and he couldn't get in. There seemed to be no manual override. Finally he got a computer that was able to open the door but from then on we had to stop by the front desk and have someone walk us up to our room to let us in. Then on day 3 we were in our room and we could hear people in the hallway perhaps talking about our door and then they barged in without knocking. It was a complete invasion of privacy and so rude to do that to their guests. They finally fixed our door for the last day there.

I would not waste your money here. It was expensive (we wanted the location) and I thought based on the pictures and website we would get our value. We feel completely taken and scammed.

Dear neumann, We took a time to answer because we know that you stay was not what it should have been. We understand your dissatisfaction. It’s for that we offer you to coming back for free and see the true experience in our hotel. You can read in the general comments that your bad experience was exceptional. We cannot find the good reason, sometimes it's inexplicable, but all the worst happened with you. We are sorry again and we are glad for your understanding after our private discussion. When we refund 40 % of your bill, we did not want you to think that we wanted to buy your silence on the net as you thought, and like you proposed us, but really to have a chance to catch up with us, we are delighted that you give us a chance during your next stay in Paris as you told us. Love this place! They have thought of everything. The room layout was clever, decor beautiful and everything super clean. In saying this, some things were broken (toilet flush and coffee machine, both fixed swiftly) and the decor looks worn, however this will not stop me from leaving a 5* review as in Paris a place like this is an absolute gem. We will be returning 100%

Front of house staff were so kind and helpful, as was the lady in the breakfast room.

Loved the bath in room, macarons on arrival and super comfy bed. We stayed in room 52 which has a street view and Juliette balcony. I was especially happy to find a fitted wardrobe which had space for me to unpack my suitcase and store it all away!

Location is brilliant, lots of cafes and brasseries on your doorstep and nice neighbourhood. Artsy sights are a nice walk away.

There is something I would like to feedback to management about the breakfast: there is a 3 tiered breakfast system which is very confusing for such a small spread. We had an express breakfast included in our room rate, but these items are not separated from the main buffet or highlighted in anyway other than on the booking form. Because of this we didn’t have all of our included items (yogurt and bottled water for example) and also took some items which were not included such as cheese. In the end we didn’t pay extra as the staff were lovely and accommodated us, but this system didn’t make sense to me at all. I feel it should I just be 1 flat rate for breakfast as to avoid confusion.

Also, we discovered on our way to check out (via reading a sign in the lift), that there is a free afternoon tea from 3-6pm, however we were not told about this and therefore missed out.

Room 22 was very clean and inviting upon arrival. We appreciated the focus to detail not only by the designer but the housekeeping team as well. We traveled with some other couples who had mixed feedback regarding the room having worn carpet, etc. We all agreed that the breakfast was not worth doing. Better to walk around and find a local spot. Location is very good and we felt safe all hours of the day. We had pleasant experiences with all of the front desk staff.

Overall a great place to stay.

Stayed here for 4 nights in a superior double room. The room was nicely decorated with ample space. Good shower and comfortable bed. The room looked onto a side street with French windows. It was clean and cleaned well every day (but you should ask each morning for room cleaning at reception). Bottle of water is given on arrival and tasty macarons.

The reception staff are polite, friendly and helpful.

The location is central for attractions and restaurants. It’s a busy area but I could not hear street noise in the room. Trains however can be heard travelling underneath the hotel so a higher floor is probably better.

I would stay here again and recommend to others. I give 4 stars as the stairs carpet is very stained and on arrival the shower drains had an unpleasant smell (although this seemed to lessen after a day).

I just left a long weekend stay at Le Lapin and figured I would share details for future potential guests.

When my wife and I arrived at the hotel, we were immediately shocked and disappointed by the hotel’s exterior. It is not fancy or welcoming. There was graffiti on the business next door and it just felt very sketchy.

When we opened the door, we were further disappointed because there isn’t a lobby. You pretty much check-in in a small/tight hallway.

The shock and worry didn’t end when we arrived in our second floor junior suite. The stand alone tub was stained (it was pretty gross, honestly), the shower was old and moldy, and the room was smaller than we expected.

On the upside - we had a balcony, which was awesome!!!! And we had macaroons waiting for us, which was a nice touch.

This motel is for travelers who are on a tight budget and don’t plan to spend much time in their room. Also, be mindful that there is no bar or restaurant and the “snacks” offered during certain hours are just that.

The location is great as many things are within walking distance. And, some of the staff, like Sally, were wonderful. However. I would not stay at Le Lapin again, and I would not recommend it.

Hi, we got a taxi from the airport to the hotel, but the traffic was horrendous, and it ended up costing a fortune. On the way back we got the train, it takes about thirty minutes, it’s cheap, and it’s about a five minute walk from the station to the hotel. Hope that helps.
