After having an horrible experience with a certain apt/home rental website, Hotel Le Sevingne was a life saver. They welcomed us in the middle of the night and we were able to restart our trip in Rennes with a good night sleep and warm and welcoming staff.

I paid 141 euros for a tiny single bed room, that didn’t even have a night table! The breakfast room was filthy when I went for breakfast shortly after 9am. None of the tables had been cleaned after the previous guests had left. Also, you should be aware that they provide no

Good afternoon Madam, we thank you for taking the time to write a feedback ! You was in a ‘standard single room’, which is the lowest and also the cheapest room category of our hotel. If you would like to have a biggest accomodation, we have other categories such as ‘standard double’, ‘comfort’, ‘grand comfort’ rooms. We are sorry to hear that breakfast room was like that when you came. Like you could see, there is only 1 person at the reception, so we have to manage : check-outs, answering to calls & mails, fill the buffet & clean tables by ourself. Sometimes, that could take a little bit time to do everything. Also, the check-out time is normally at 11:30 am (it’s written in the welcome notebook on the desk room), but we always tell customers until 12:00am so they could have a longer time. By the way, customers must release the room because maids have to clean the room that is why we have a check-out time like that. If you would like to stay a little longer in the hotel, you could use the luggage room for your bags and stay in the breakfast room : it’s a free space. Furthermore, that is true that prices during this week are quite higher than what we have usually. Like you said, there is a conference in a town called « Artibat ». It’s a really requested period, prices increase according to supply and demand. You have been aware of the price before you book the room. Even in the nearby 3* hotels, prices are relatively the same. We are sorry that your stay wasn’t like you expected. We hope to see you again in our hotel so we could show you all of our professionalim ! Have a nice day, Jennie (receptionist)

A modern and clean hotel conveniently located close to the train station made for an ideal one-night stay. Our room (405) had sloping walls and a sloping window with an automatic blind to block out the light. There was a large writing desk and lots of outlets for charging

Good afternoon, We thank really much for your nice feedback ! The maids are doing a great cleaning job in rooms. That is true that our 'confort' and 'grand confort' rooms are equiped with all the equipment to make a hot drink. It is very pleasant when the weather begins to be cold. If it misses something in a room, do not hesitate to contact the reception. We are open 24hours a day, and we are here to help you in any way in the room. We are really sorry to hear that the staff was not in your expectations. We hope to welcome again in the future to show you our professionalism ! Have a nice day, Jennie (receptionnist)

Easy to get to on foot if you arrive to Rennes by train. Nice breakfast with a good variety to chose from. Our room was very small...”Tokyo-style” small....suggest you ask for a bigger room if staying more than overnight and you are travelling as a couple with 2 cases. The bed

We thank you really much for your lovely comment ! I think you were in a "standard room" (which are near the lift) for a little extra, you could have a "comfort room" which are bigger and more quiet. Do not hesitate to ask us the price for this room's type for your next stay in Rennes ! We are looking forward to welcome you again, have a wonderful evening ! Jennie (receptionist)
