The couple that owns this hotel are the cutest!! They personally greet you, help you park your car, give advice on restaurants. The rooms are very clean and quaint. It is walking distance to the walled city, a little hike to the river where there are a lot of restaurants but worth the steps!

I rarely rave about a place, but this is an exception. The owners, Kevin & Roxana, are absolutely wonderful. They go out of their way to accommodate their guests in whatever is asked of them. The renovations that have been done are spectacular. It feels very homey. In addition the location, a couple of blocks from the gate to the Old Town of Dinan, makes it easy to explore the city. It's also very close to St Malo which is also great but very touristy, so I found Dinan a much better alternative.

Two words for this hotel: warm and welcoming. The couple that run the hotel seem like an endless font of positive energy. When we asked “how are you” they said “we are great every day” and that’s how it feels from the moment you walk in to the moment you check out. The hotel is at the high end of 3 stars: they do everything to make it a great stay but the property is not what a 4-star hotel is expected to be- a bit more homey and informal. But we love that! The rooms are in great shape, all the towels and linens you need, etc, The hotel is a few houses put together so the property is more quirky and than a typical hotel (read as more steps and odd room sizes to make the most of the space). Our room was on the second floor with a narrow staircase leading to the room and low ceilings in some places. Not a problem, but it will lean toward homey than luxury. Breakfast was so nice. Your hosts are there again running around to ensure everything is great. It was. A very nice hotel breakfast. If they run out of coffee someone will be there to refill before long. Location is great - only 2 blocks from the walls of the center of the city and less than 10 minutes down (literally) to the waterfront. Highly recommended!

Great hotel ran by a young couple who live next door. We had room 9 no aircon but a very good fan was provided. Wonderful view over the roof top of nearby buildings, with a 10 minute walk into the town centre through the city walls. Great walk along the river which we happened upon a boat race with market stalls which was a nice surprise. Room was a good size and breakfast doesn't look much on their bio but is adequate and they have they most effective egg cooker I have ever seen. No fridge in the room but you can help yourself to water out the fridge in reception every night. soft and hard canned drinks on sale too. Parking was free and on the street and each day we felt like we got the last spot furthest away from the hotel. I would say the parking is the only drawback but don't let put you off and a lack of sockets in the room

Spent 3 nights here and it was delightful. Roxanne and Kevin are the owners and they go out of their way to help and be good hosts. Like most places in this part of the world, there are no elevators but negotiating the stairs is easy. Kevin will help with your suitcases. The hotel is well located and you can walk everywhere in town, or down to the port pretty easily. Would stay here again.

This is a delightful small hotel just outside the Midieval walls of Dinan. The owners are extremely personable and helpful. Wine and beer are available and they will prepare wonderful cheese and meat trays for a happy hour. If I ever return to Dinan, I will book this hotel.

Another couple and my husband and I made a brief visit to Dinan and stayed at this lovely hotel. We were met with a warm welcome and helped to settle in our comfortable room with a small balcony overlooking a pretty garden area with red and pink geraniums where we later enjoyed visiting with our friends and drinking a local beer that the hotel stocked. Our breakfast the next morning was delicious and consisted of coffee, cappuccino , pastries, boiled eggs, apple tarte, cold cuts and cheese. Best of all was the hospitality of the couple who owns and operates the hotel. We were sad that we were only staying one night.

We chose this quaint boutique hotel over a large chain and were not dissapointed. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating and a pleasure to chat with, including offering guidance on where to eat out etc. A spotlessly clean and comfortable place to stay and would not hesitate to return when in Dinan again.
