Very convenient hotel with ample parking and situated close to the restaurants and bars by the river. The rooms are big enough and modern. Breakfast is the usual fare, but with plenty to choose from.

This is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful place, on the banks of the river Rance. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing with just about everything you could possibly want. The room was very clean and well appointed with a small outdoor terrace. The bathroom was a good size with a large walk in shower. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but does serve bar snacks and there are lots of eating places within a couple of minutes walk. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel with plenty of free parking. We had two rooms for two nights. Although the hotel did not provide evening meals, there are plenty of excellent eateries just short walk away. Friendly and efficient staff with all areas kept clean and tidy. The location of the hotel across from Dinan Port is superb, and we enjoyed an evening drink on the terrace overlooking the river.

Booked at the last minute when our ferry back to Jersey was cancelled. We caught the number 10 bus from St Malo which only costs 2.50 euros for the trip ( sorry not really relevant but thought might be of use to some). Mercure is a lovely location right in front of the river. The receptionist was very nice and we were able to store our bags until check in. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. I approve of the Nuxe body wash but would have liked it even more if they had provided body lotion. Kettle is provided with some cardboard cups and teas and coffees. Free cold water available on each floor. The outdoor heated pool was not terribly warm when I used it in the afternoon, but nice to have it available along with the jacuzzi. The gym is some cardio equipment only. I thought the pool was closed when I arrived in the morning at 9, but apparently I should have asked to have it opened. We didn’t have breakfast as 19 euros per person seemed quite steep. Lovely hotel in a beautiful town and I’d gladly come back.

I have stayed in this hotel before, when coming to the 'Fete des Remparts' in the past. It was wonderful then, and it is wonderful now. I just love Dinan with all my heart, but the only place I would ever stay would be Hotel Mercure Jerzual. The rooms are spotlessly clean, with large, comfortable beds. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, and shower gel. No shampoo and conditioner or hand cream, but I always take my own anyway! There is a lovely swimming pool, and jacuzzi with an abundance of clean towels to take out to the poolside. The breakfast has both English and continental choices, and the selection each morning is impressive. The views from the lounge area are spectacular, as one watches a variety of boats (commercial and personal) drifting silently up and down the Rance. What is more, the staff are truly delightful. This year, they had a new member of staff called Emily. Her smile lit the room as we approached her, and the warmth and confidence she showed for one so young was impressive, given she had not long joined the team. Everyone tried their best to make the stay enjoyable, and the bar was well stocked and varied. I cant offer enough praise, and want to go back as soon as I am able!

This was my third visit to this hotel based on previous experience of the situation and the parking. My room was spacious and comfortable although the very nasty stain on the carpet was not what I expected and I am surprised that this had not been addressed. Good breakfast and easy access to the main town up the hill or fine for a walk along the river or to eat at one of the many restaurants beside the water. Disappointed that Accor would not add points to my loyalty account for my bar bill, so on future visits I will leave the hotel to go for drinks. Always wish that there was a little more shelf or drawer space for unpacking. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This Hotel is well up to the usual Mercure standard, the room was very spacious and well maintained with an enormous bed. The public areas were all very comfortable and the staff were outstanding. A great secure car park at the rear was important to me. I would have given 5 stars but like so many Mercure hotels in France the did not do evening meals.

As always the staff were really friendly and welcoming, the hotel is spotless and so convenient for places to eat in the Old Port and for the free bus up into Dinan centre. The free parking is a real bonus.

A few improvements would merit it being a four star hotel. Unless you are a Rotarian or using the hotel for a conference it seems it is uneconomical to open the Le 26 restaurant. The only option in the hotel are 'snacks' which come in micro-waved kilner jars and are not haute cuisine by any stretch of the imagination. However, the breakfasts are excellent with variety to suit all tastes. The bedrooms are excellent however the bathroom shower is so large for people unsteady on their feet there is no support hold to provide confidence in showering. Do not believe that the staff are bi-lingual, they are not which can cause problems if problems arise (used Googler translate to get what I needed). The hotel is beautifully situated on the river bank and a maximum of 1/2 mile from all the restaurants of Dinan Port. The free Dinamo bus is some 300 yards away, and not from the Manoir de Rance, which is next door to the hotel. It goes to the rail station and other buses for an onward journey can be obtained there. There is a train that goes into the centre of the town which stops the other side of the bridge over the River Rance which costs Euros. The Jaman V sails most days between 10.30 and 4.30 south along the river for E13.50 per person. There are also small boats (electric?) that can be hired for a self driven voyage along the waterway.

Dear client , We are pleased to read your kind feedback about your stay in DInan. Concerning the snacks indeed it is not a haute cuisine but we always explain it and we've choosed to work with "La cuisine de mon Père" wich is a local caterer that offers a good quality of food. For the bilingual point, not every one can be one in a day and all the staff is doing there best but I am glad you find your way with google translate. I wanted to thank you for the quality of your notice as it is going to be a big help for any futur client in here. We will be happy to welcome you back in Dinan anytime ! Take care until this moment, kind regards, Emilie
