We stayed for two nights in August. It was a great location, clean with lovely staff but the noise from other rooms was significant and this was mid-week Covid time, so wouldn't want to stay during busy times.

Stayed overnight in An File in Room 3 . The smell of bleach throughout the night was disgusting . It was obviously used to disguise the smell of sewage from the drains .. it didn’t work !! Rooms are tiny and noise from floors creaking all night is horrendous One plus for the place is the staff who were extremely friendly and apologetic for the bad smell from bathroom Food is very good quality with really large portions . However it would not entice us to ever return

Just stayed one night, so central, walking distance to all pubs and restaurants, clean sheets, hot shower and a fine big breakfast. We will be coming back with the children next time, double bed in the room and 2 single beds.

I had booked a room at this property to visit with a friend of mine who unfortunately fell sick just before we were to leave. I emailed the administration explaining our situation and they graciously waived the booking fee and promptly cancelled our booking. We were very excited to stay here based on the nice reviews, but we really appreciated the quick and helpful response. I will be booking at An File Guesthouse the next time I make it up to Westport.
