Had a live band for a wedding that went to 2am! Hotels i’ve been at before had th music turned down at 11:00–my husband talked t th front desk but they weren’t going t do that. They say they have a/c but u can’t control it and it only seemed t hav heat coming out. I gave 2 stars cuz th staff were so nice. try t get a hotel in town cuz th taxis aren’t as easy to get out there. Another couple had th same problem. Ask th front desk t call instead of th app and it works better. Park is lovely. Oh yeah— th morning we left, they were making a lot of noise in th parking lot setting up stages for a harley davidson event! So, the hotel next door- gleneagles-does outdoor noisy events!

There is an expression in economics “a rising tide lifts all boats “ this expression is easily transferable to the level of hospitality in a location. Well let me say, if that is the case then The Brehon Hotel in Killarney is the Flagship of the hotels in Killarney. In comparison to The Brehon all the other four star hotels are just ordinary boats. From the size of the room, the spa, the quality of the breakfast, the reception to the innovative “do not disturb” type of card for the outside of the door, indicating which supplies (towels etc) are required, this hotel is a revelation. Since covid my wife and I have holidayed in Killarney about 15 times between 4 and 5 star hotels. The Brehon is head and shoulders above everything else. I haven’t mentioned the staff. People come to Ireland and staycation in Ireland for the friendliness of hotel staff. The benchmark for hospitality, friendliness and competency should be measured against The Brehon in a sliding scale. You will not find better in the Country. From the bar staff, to the waiting staff but especially housekeeping, we were treated like family. A fantastic experience. Can’t wait to return.…

The hotel was lovely. The hotel is closed to Kilarney with gorgeous views of the hillside. The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. This was also the cheapest hotel of our entire stay, but the very best. This was the best hotel we stayed in during our 11 day road trip. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel. Perfect views of Killarney National Patk,mountains. Great room with amazing views. Enjoyed the Vitality pool on 2 occasions. Staff helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast included. Perfect location on Ring of Kerry and other attractions(Dingle).

A smooth hassle free check in and check out. Friendly staff - literally service with a smile. Beautiful room with a gorgeous view of the National park.Great breakfast. Greeted with a bottle of wine and Irish chocolates. Enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Fabulous staff. Was given a free complimentary upgrade. Food was devine. The suite was amazing. Coffee machine facilities in the room. The hotel was clean and spotless. Staff were so friendly and attentive from front of house to catering and cleaning staff. Excellent hotel.

There was nothing negative we could say about Brehon Hotel until our check out. E we contacted a taxi driver we wanted the day before leaving to take us there the airport. The man at the desk took it upon himself to call a different taxi driver, leading us to believe that ours could not come. The substitute driver arrived and said he was there to take us instead. We arrived at the airport to be greeted by the original taxi driver. It appears that the man at the desk called a different driver, leaving the original driver out to dry. This was an unconscionable act. Antonella, the man at checkout was not cordial to us at all. He was not the caliber of employee we were used to at Brehon Hotel. Other than this man, we give Brehon 5 + stars

We recently stayed at the Brehon hotel and our experience surpassed any expectations we could imagine! From the stunning landscape and breathtaking lobby, to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, to the spacious and relaxing accommodations- we could not have asked for more! We had a wonderful experience meeting many of the incredible staff- most memorably Pedro and Ricardo on the bar staff who provided top tier service onsite as well as a number of great recommendations for places to go in the area. We can’t thank the team enough for creating a wonderful guest experience throughout our stay! We definitely plan to return.

Everything was excellent but scored low on the food....chips were reheated or there for several hours....burger was just not tasty but just about edible...the rest of the stay was perfect in every regard a 10 out of 10.
