We booked at the beginning of the season to spend 4 nights in July. I contacted Flesk to explain that unforseen circumstances meant that our trip had to be cancelled. No personal response or interaction, just a scripted “terms and conditions” reply to both my emails. I asked for a partial refund, acknowledging the terms and not disputing them. We had visited previously but will not return. We also had to cancel another leg of the trip in Dublin but thankfully that one had procedures in place, appreciated the custom and refunded the full amount. I would understand if there was a time limit cut off for refunds but it is a blanket no refund policy so be aware folks. Risky way to operate in these times.
During our tour through Ireland we booked this campsite for 2 nights. Unfortunately we needed to return home because of family circumstances. The manager refunded the second day although they were not obliged to. This, again, shows that Irish people are very nice! We would have loved to stay longer: spacious places, extensive, very clean, facilities and close to Killarney and the National Park.
My wife and I have bought a new caravan which the dealer said would be delivered at the end of June. He has since told use it will now be delivered till the start of September. We had booked a tour of Ireland, booking eight sites. I contacted the all to explain the problem and got a full refund minus and deposit required. I received an email back from Killarney Flesh caravan site saying my booking was cancelled. We had already payed 121 euros which despite emailing the site several times and telephoning them to see about a refund we have got no answer. I have never had this problem over many years in a motorhome and caravanning.
I love this campsite we come here every weekend ,facilities are spotlessly clean ,bikes for rental at the gate ,toilets, showers, and laundry facilities, every morning we go down to the filling station to get breakfast rolls my dog loves it!the camp is very dog friendly.if I could give them more then 5 stars I would.love here would definitely come back again!
This campsite is just a mile from the town centre. It is an easy walk into town from the campsite. The campsite staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The toilets and showers are so clean, bright and spacious. Delightful. There was a very open and friendly atmosphere on the campsite. We had a delightful stay here and had only intended staying one night, but had to stay two. There are many delightful walks in the area. It was a most satisfactory stay we had here and would highly recommend this site.
Lovely campsite. Very well kept. Very clean all around. Only downside was we r not allow to have fire lit after 10 p.m. What's the point of camping without late night campfire? 😄 But it's ok because we were with kids can't have too late night anyways. But if we were with friends definitely will consider a place that can lit fire all night.
Just back from Killarney Flesk caravan and camping Park stayed here for the August bank holiday week-end what a great place to stay the facilities are spotless the park is kept in great condition with loads of space for caravans, motor homes and tents. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere and the site was so quiet even with all the people staying here. There is a cycle path which starts just across the road that brings you to Muckross House and a path which you can cycle around the park to see all it has to offer and you can hire bikes just outside camping park. You can walk to town centre in 20-30 minutes or get a taxi for about 9-10 euros. The Gleneagle Hotel is just five minutes from the park and there are hotels and restaurants all along the way to town . First time to try this camping park but won't be the last would highly recommend a trip here.…
We spent a week here during the heatwave and loved it. We had bikes with us so took advantage of the traffic free greenway across the road. In round Muckross House you can cycle mostly off road for 12km. On another day we turned right and cycled 15miles to the end of Frosses way using memorial Park, Ross Castle and Knockreer Park. We returned through using a path that follows the Lake through Killarney golf club. The site itself is friendly & spotless. The toilets were always immaculate. Thanks to everyone. We would return.
Our first visit to Flesk was last month and today we returned home to the Midlands after spending another fabulous week with you in the Kingdom. We were so impressed that we had to return and will do so again very soon, you will be on our annual list. From the moment we arrived there was a great welcome in the office, the grass was being mowed, the toilets were being cleaned and the showers were spotless. The lady who looks after the toilet block is a huge asset to your business, what a lovely pleasant person. Litterpicking was done early every morning, every detail was attended to and everyone I spoke to was so happy with the site, many have been returning for years. I can't understand how there can be negative reviews based on our two experiences and those described by fellow campers we met on site. We look forward to returning to your fabulous park and thank you for a memorable experience. The stunning views and weather, the lovely walk in to Killarney and to the National Park all combined to make it a wonderful experience. Thank you.…
