Great receptionist checked us in as an early arrival. Room was excellent. Bed was comfortable and room was airy and bright. Water in bathrooms was warm and everything was clean and spotless. Did not use the bar or restaurant as town centre was just a 10 minute walk away. Town was hopping and there was music in most of the pubs. Friendly vibe with mostly older tourists and locals. Where do the young people go?

All was good except our GPS took us to Killarney Hotel. That hotel said it happens several times a day so this issue should be addressed. Otherwise the hotel was outdated but beds were comfortable.

On the 1st April this year, My wife and i and four friends travelled to Killarney and stayed in the Killarney Court Hotel. Our trip centred around a climb of Carrantuohill and some exploring of the National Park. All our group had a brilliant experience in the Killarney Court. From the lovely spacious and well furnished rooms, comfortable beds, lovely food and most important of all, the friendly and ever welcoming staff who made our stay a most enjoyable experience. The location is perfect, a ten minute walk brings you to the town centre. Supermarkets, filling stations, pharmacy all beside the hotel. The Killarney Court ticked all the boxes and for sure we'll be back.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights across 2 rooms. My husband booked the hotel based solely on price. The hotel is in need of remodelling. Rooms are dated but my major issue was regarding having to call security several times on the night of February 14th to a major row in a room which spilled out into the hallways but was allowed to continue for some hours. When I requested to speak to the manager the following morning he seemed not to care and promised to investigate and respond to me by phone same day. Over a month later and following a Facebook messenger message sent to the hotel plus 2 phone calls, no response, apology or anything. Dreadful service from this hotel even given that I have video evidence of what actually happened. Would never book again and most reviews point to this lack of response from same hotel.

The Killarney Court Hotel is a no frills hotel close to Killarney town centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and it doesn’t cost the earth. Very good breakfast…so, the next time I need to stay in Killarney, it will be here.

Our terrible experience with the hotel came before we booked so we never actually made it there. When we called to check dates my wife encountered one of the most unfriendly and unhelpful people that ever answered a telephone. This lady was reluctant to even check a second date for us when our first choice wasn't available. When we asked her to check a third one she hung up immediately. I called back and spoke to a manager who promised to check what was dates were available around our chosen time and get back to me. That was nearly two weeks ago now. If this is the service offered before the guest books, I'd be very wary of what they would be like if the money was already paid.
