It was my nephews holy communion and all the family invited to the Restaurant. 2 tables of 12 set aside for us. Beautiful room where windows acted as frames for amazing views. Really like the corner window with the sculpture and Carantuohill mountains. Chairs very comfortable with armrests ideal for a long afternoon. The lunch menu had lots of choice. The quality and presentation very high standard. Sometimes when going to 5 star hotel portion sizes are small but Aghadoe did not disappoint. Really really good food which was a highlight. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed going out to the terrace afterwards. Best location ever in a beautiful part of Ireland. When leaving we saw a tour bus arrive where they received (literally!) the red carpet treatment, Irish coffees on arrival and hot towels with voya products. Very tempting to stay next time. We will be back for future family celebrations…

The rooms were excellent and of generous sizes. Check-in was quick and efficient. Breakfast of a morning is also good, with plenty of choice. The big problem with this hotel is the kitchens of an evening, with food orders only being issue free on the last night of 3. Night 1: food orders somehow being changed between being recorded by the waiting staff and arriving in the kitchen Night 2: taking more than 3 and a half hours to be served a meal, consisting of a main course only Night 3: complimentary food due to the issues of the previous 2 nights This is another hotel I would consider staying again, but would eat elsewhere of an evening

Just spent a wonderful afternoon in the company of friends from the US for a few days. The food and service were top class. We were seated inside the windows with a magnificent view of the lakes and mountains. The sun obliged and shone during the whole afternoon. Our host was Maura Casey and she treated us like royalty. She and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend the Aghadoe for a stay or any event for that matter.

I'm just writing to compliment Ailish and all the staff at Aghadoe Heights for our fantastic celebration today at lunch. On arrival, the 2 boys celebrating their communion and confirmation were greeted on a first name basis at reception which they were delighted about. My son said he felt very spoiled throughout our meal, from all the personalised attention he was receiving😁. The meal itself was outstanding and the 2 boys were delighted with the cards and cinema vouchers they were presented with from the hotel. I really can't speak highly enough of our experience today. So thanks again to all of you for making our day so memorable and special. I could not rate our experience at Aghadoe Heights highly enough. Stayed in this beautiful place few days ago and it was briliant! Amazing location, incrediblr service and great food, including vegetarian dishes! Stuff was excelent especially lovely polish girl working at reception, not sure about name (Ewa?) Who was extremely helpful and kind, made us feel special and looked after. Lovely break, weather exceptional for the weekend. Incredible location for views, food and exceptional cocktails from Martin & Themis. Enjoyed chatting with Martin, Themis & Lez. Would recommend the restaurant over the bar food. It was lovely that they took the time to chat to everyone. We were made feel really welcome and looking foreword to returning next year.

Stunning hotel, friendly and helpful staff. My room had gorgeous views of the mountains and lake. Very spacious room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, everything you could want, and more! I did not get to experience the pool area or spa due to other commitments during my stay but I will return for the full experience. Location is great, less than 10 minutes to the town centre where there is ample parking.

Great place with gorgeous views. Staff are very friendly and spacious rooms. We had lovely massages in the spa as well. Would recommend to anyone visiting Killarney. Please note it is a little bit out of Killarney town. Our First time here but we will be back.
