We stayed here for two nights, at the start and end of our Kerry Way trek booked through Macs Adventures. Both rooms we had were excellent with everything we needed. They were beautifully decorated and our hosts Toni and Dan were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee making is available and breakfast is served at the Royal Killarney Hotel, just down the road. The breakfast is different but lovely, a bit like afternoon tea with cornflakes, yogurt, fruit and toast! If we are in Killarney again this would be our first choice.

We had a lovely time at the Larkkinney. It was the beginning of our walk along the Kerry way. Our host was so knowledgeable about the area and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was just down the street and delicious.

What a delightful accommodation Toni and Dan have. Great location, gorgeous rooms, impeccably clean and extremely comfy beds. Will certainly stay there again when I get back to Killarney! I was on a hiking trip this time and everything was taken care of without a worry. Taxi arrived exactly on time and my bags were picked up and transported to my next stop. Breakfast is at the Killarney Royal hotel and it is superb! This is definitely the place to stay when you are in Killarney.

Larkinley Lodge and it’s hosts, Toni and Danny are fantastic. The beautiful house is an easy walk from Killarney train station and the town centre. The house is tastefully furnished with gorgeous tiled floors and chandeliers with beautiful wooden doors and furniture throughout. The place absolutely spotlessly clean and kept to an incredibly high standard. The bedroom was large and comfortable and the en suite with its large shower was pure luxury. And best of all, are the owners themselves; Toni and Danny are a total delight with lovely warm Irish accents and great Irish welcoming hospitality. Whilst I was there, I saw Toni sorting out other guests’ problems with luggage collections and arranging last minute taxis for people who had a sudden change of mind with their plans. Nothing was too much trouble, and the care they take of their guests is second to none!

A welcoming, quiet, and comfortable guest house in walking distance from the town pubs and restaurants. We stayed five nights and enjoyed hikes in the national park and the wonderful restaurants and pubs in Killarney. Toni was such a warm and welcoming and helpful host!

Toni and the Larkinley lodge was just fantastic! The room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and the shower was good sized with good water pressure. We were also a quick 5 minute walk from Downtown Killarney, so you are close to plenty of food and shops. We would highly recommend them again!

We booked this as a B&B in 2020 and had to cancel due to COVID. We rebooked our trip this year and they no longer serve breakfast. I was concerned about this because we had some early tours booked but Toni ( the owner of this lovely, clean establishment) has an agreement with a local hotel that’s less than a 5 minute walk. For 10 Euros per person you can get a continental breakfast starting at 7:30 am. The hotel has a separate gluten free section which was great for us because a member of our group has celiac disease. When we asked Toni where we could get our laundry done she told us to leave our laundry in a bag by the staircase and she would take it to the laundry and pick it up for us the next day. When a tour we had booked to the Gap of Dunloe canceled on us, she told us not to worry she would book us a similar tour with a local outfit. Although it wasn’t possible to rebook, she learned that all tours for that day were canceled because of repair issues at the Old Weir Bridge. She helped us plan our day with similar activities. Toni is just a fantastic person and we won’t hesitate to book here again if we return.

We returned to Larkinley this summer after a great stay in 2019 - It is still fantastic! Spotlessly clean, an easy walk (5 minutes) to the bars and restaurants in town, and it is hard to find a better host than Toni. This is one of the best B&Bs in Ireland, and will always be my go-to for visits to Killarney. Thank you, Toni!

Toni is the absolute best. I have been to the Larkinley multiple times over the years and she never disappoints. Always a smile, a friendly chat, a spotless and comfortable room and recommendations abound. I wish she lived near so that I could meet up for a coffee. Adore her!!! Go ahead and book. You won't regret.
