Quirky room with lots of space and the bed on a mezzanine above the bathroom! Big comfy bed! Bathroom a little tired. Grateful that we were able to check in early.
Very well located, within easy walking distance of restaurants and the main Dublin sites.
On a road with lots of nightclubs. Our room faced this road but there was minimal noise disruption (we stayed on a monday night).
Breakfast was €15 for a full buffet which seemed expensive so we ate brunch out.

Fist off see my picture as to what the hotel staff did one night to greet us! How can I say something bad when you come back to a presentation like that! We booked through Costco Travel services (who asked about any special event, it was a 30th anniversary trip) which included car ride from airport and breakfast. It is a converted historic building so I am guessing your experience depends on the room assigned. We were top floor, facing the street. Yes it was noisy late night toward weekend. Our room was spacious and had a sky light in bathroom ceiling. Air flow was poor as windows couldn't be opened. If the temperature is warm, it would be stifling. Our front desk/staff experience was great and the breakfast next door was delicious (except as an American, I just can't eat baked beans for breakfast). Great location, and Dublin is a fun city to explore. Would I stay there again? Hmm, might check out something else nearby, but if the price was right, I would come back.

This hotel was nice and the staff very helpful. We arrived early am. Knowing our room wasn't going to be ready, we dropped luggage. The staff offered for us to use the restroom and sit in the living room if we wished. After a day of touring, we came back to check-in. This went very smoothly. The only issue we had was redeeming a gift certificate my travel agent purchased. The reservation department sold it to him and listed "to be used for food and drink or toward our stay". Our reservation was pre-paid and the hotel doesn't have a restaurant or bar on site. The front desk staff tried to arrange for us to be able to use it next door at their sister hotel Iveagh to no avail. I had to tell my agent to request a refund. The front desk staff apologized profusely. I understood it wasn't their fault.

I had such a lovely time at this hotel. The staff could not have done more for me and my friend. We stayed in the Parnell suite which was absolutely gorgeous. It was a great location too as you can walk right into the center of Dublin so nothing seems too far away. I will definitely rebook when I am next in Dublin.

Where to begin? Long story short, we were given keys to an already booked room, front desk girl had no clue, Manager showed up and got it mostly sorted. The rooms are large, but dated. Furniture is a mix of wanna be antique and 50’s with contemporary -ish lamps. No AC in the room, so when we got back from dinner we got the CLUB music piped in through our barely cracked windows all through the night. Thank god for the barely working ceiling fan.

Get yourself an external Bluetooth speaker and play some white noise if you end up here. It helps to drown out the pumping and shrieking club music next door.

Conveniently located on the TRAM line and just a couple blocks from the main drag for food and pubs and convenience shopping. Get a Bluetooth speaker, or a powerful fan.

Don’t forget your adapters, as this establishment has no US plugs available, like many others have started offering.

We stayed in the Kitty O'Shea suite and it was superb. Living room downstairs with lovely bathroom. Bed was enormous and comfortable.
My only little issue with room was that it was very warm. No heating on and only a little window to let air in. No a/c !!
The hotel itself is gorgeous and quiet but be aware the this hotel has no restaurant or bar but is attached to the Iveagh park next door where you will have breakfast. This was not a problem for us but maybe for some. Breakfast was superb!
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Parking is a bit of a problem. I had to park in a shopping centre approx 10 min walk from hotel. If you get the ticket validated at hotel, you will be charged approx €26 per day rather than €50. Due to tram line outside hotel, waiting to unload and load luggage is a hassle as cannot wait long.
Location of the hotel is superb as well for the city. Would definitely return!

I checked in for a night and was given a dingy lower ground floor room. I wasn't informed about this at the time of booking. I cannot imagine a 4 star hotel following this practice of charging the same money for a lower ground floor room and NOT even informing the customer about this.

I realised that it was not a mistake but intentional and many people have complained about this in their reviews but clearly the hotel's intent is not to change their ways and keep duping people of their money.

After a long worded email to the manager, I got an apology with an offer of discount the next time and a rude response that if I have anxiety issues I should have requested for a non lower ground floor room. I did not understand how I am supposed to imagine what kind of rooms th hotel has. Well, you charged me more than the fair share today so it won't technically be a discount. But I won't stay here again. I sent the same in my response email and I am still waiting for the response.

Overall, good location but I won't advise staying here because the hotel runs on an element of deception in a time when transparency is key.

This place was so outdated and run down. The mattress needed to be replaced as you could feel every spring poking through. Included breakfast was served in a "sister" hotel 2 doors down which was very inconvenient, especially during rain.
Bad smell in the room and the bathroom was awful.

A hotel that had seen better days. They don’t even have their own dining room, breakfast was served in a better, beautiful hotel next door. That came as a welcome surprise because the dining area was so cozy we were quite bemused. The question in our minds were that we’d missed staying in the hotel next door instead.

The staff were all very helpful, nevertheless. The room was clean and equipped with a TV that has a lot of local programmes. The room looked like it had a good makeover, with new tiles and new coat of paint. But still, it is a dated hotel. No air cond, needed to open the window for fresh cool air. A table fan was provided, anyway. We’d got to use it to keep the air in the room circulated.

Still, it was a good night sleep for me.

Centrally located guesthouse in the heart of Dublin. The check-in is very friendly and staff in the venture are very knowledgeable of the city. Rooms are clean & tidy with. Good facilities. Whilst located on a popular street sound proofing is good. WiFi is excellent for business use.

We rented a car for the 10 days we were in Ireland which was amazing! But if you are not renting a car...I agree, a taxi is the way to go.

A taxi is the best as the bus does not come down the road where the Hotel is , plenty taxis at airport cost about 25euros takes about three quarters of an hour.
