We stayed here for 2 nights when visiting family in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a fairly big tv. The only issue was that the lift was out of order so we had to walk up two flights of stairs to our room. The self service buffet breakfast was fine - nothing fancy but everything you would need. There was a selection of cooked items plus bread and croissants, yogurt, fruit and juice. The hotel is a bit out of the town centre ( 45 minutes walk ) so we walked in and got the bus back. The receptionist gave us some recommendations for restaurants and information about the buses. We would happily stay again if in the area.
First time visit great check in lift nort working shower and taps had no water pressure which was disappointing . Toilet could have been cleaner room a bit tired could do with upgrade. Breakfast was OK not as good a house as some other holiday inns
Stayed over while at Tabletop Scotland at The Dewar Centre. Comfy beds and nice rooms, free parking and a decent breakfast. It’s a bit out of town, it took me an hour to walk back to The Dewar Centre after dropping off my car, but it’s fine if are driving.
We stayed as a family overnight to be close to the festival. Positives staff were helpful, breakfast was quite good and location was superb. Very very overpriced for room. Extremely small for two young teenagers and two adults. We felt that the bathroom could sleep an adult it’s quite large. If you can, book two rooms (although that would amount to £439).
We had a lovely stay, staff were helpful and everything was good. Room wasn't very big but fitted us in, breakfast was nice too. Only problem was that 6 and 17 year old girls didn't want to share the bed settee. Would stay again and book the 17 year old thier own room.
Staff extremely nice, rooms big enough for us... took our dog and the hotel had provided a blanket and bowl for her, which was lovely. Breakfast was a better standard than we'd anticipated, after reading comments on TripAdvisor, so we were pleasantly surprised! All in all good value for money.
Good basic clean accommodation. Comfortable bed, good bathroom, good breakfast. (Only point is that in hot weather when you need a window open - there's no aircon (I should hope not either, in the UK!) so if you're at the front it's noisy, being next to the main road. Cooling fan provided, but you can't have that going all night.)
My son and I had a short overnight stay here. Very good parking on-site. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, warm and well presented. Very quiet at night. Breakfast was very good. Excellent restaurant next door. Would definitely stay again.
Great hotel, friendly staff, immaculately clean. Beds were very comfortable and breakfast was exactly how an express breakfast should be. Bar is open until 11:00pm and there is also a fridge with snacks. Will definitely come back when transiting through the area.
Perfect location for a few nights stay to visit family, but the rooms are small. All the amenities required with an on-site breakfast buffet and bar and right next to a bar serving food. Rooms were clean and well made up and ready for our arrival. Staff were friendly and capable.
