We stay at the Raeburn every time we come to Edinburgh. Located in the Stockbridge section, away from the hustle and bustle (and noise) of the downtown area. The rooms are spacious with a big walk-in closet. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The stay includes breakfast which has always been very good. Dinners are also very good. They have the best sticky toffee pudding anywhere.

First time stay, but will definitely return. Exceeded all our expectations! Room was exquisite, and had more amenities than we imagined. The mini bar and make up light mirror especially appreciated! We stayed for my husband’s birthday, and mentioned it when chatting to the very friendly check in host. We were delighted to then be brought 2 complimentary glasses of Prosecco shortly after we’d checked into our room. What a lovely surprise! Breakfast also exceeded our expectations, definitely a hearty Scottish one with good quality produce. We felt looked after by the host, and the staff, and they were happy to keep our bags the next morning, so we could have a potter round Stockbridge before we left. They even called us a cab on our return. Can’t wait for our next visit, and will definitely be recommending to all our friends.…

My wife and I enjoyed a three-night stay at the Raeburn whilst in Edinburgh this week. Accommodation was excellent and the location gave us the opportunity to explore the surrounding area of Stockbridge. Staff were very attentive and gave excellent service. We look forward to returning at some stage in the future.

We stayed in The Raeburn on Thursday for one evening as our daughter was moving into her new apartment close by. This hotel is superb with wonderful staff who are friendly and professional. Our room was gorgeous - beautifully decorated and very spacious. We had drinks in ten at and to our joy it is dog friendly which was such a bonus. The location is also perfect, walking distance to a range of quirky independent shops along with fabulous artisans selling fresh produce, speciality cheese, coffee….. The next morning my daughter and boyfriend joined us for breakfast and again ten staff were so helpful. We will definitely be retuning again to this great gem of a hotel

The room was beautiful and well presented and a fab size staff were pleasent and well mannered despite wee problem with bath it didn't spoil the stay nobody could forsee washer going on tap highly recommend The manager next morning was lovely and a credit to the hotel Breakfast was great and the service spot on
