This is at very good location in Dundee Central. Very good for those visiting local university students or to visit local attractions like various musiums and castles in Dundee. Its in central location so good access to various restaurants and shops etc.
Located in the centre of Dundee, just a few minutes walk to V&A etc. Clean, no problems with noise or anything like that. Would definitely use again. No eating facilities, but you can get a pre-packed breakfast - we didn't have one but seemed OK.
Hotel as ever very clean and functional. Room spacious and good. Unfortunately the external noise in this area affected our stay. But, this is outside of the control of Travelodge and it's staff. Bearing in mind it's a student area, we should have known better
Huge rooms but poor maintenance of window latches. First night was in a very bright, clean, airy corner room with 3 sets of windows. Main reason for airiness was that none of the windows closed properly. This wasn't a problem until 1am when the noise from the patrons of the casino next door kept us awake until 5am. Rooms looked like they had been recently refurbished and were huge but some maintenance to the windows and a word with the neighbours would be a good idea.
Great staff reception, the lady on reception was lovely and very nice, her fist shift in this hotel, good location. The housekeeping need attention because in my room bed was not change and there was dirty pillow on the shelf.
As we arrived in Dundee about 12 noon we decided to pay the £10 for an early check in (If you book with Premier Inn if your room's ready it doesn't cost anything) the receptionist was very friendly and professional and we had no problems at check in. Our room was on the 1st floor and was quite spacious and clean. The bathroom was also nice and clean. You got 30 minutes free wi-fi per day or you could pay £3 for 24 hours. We stayed for 2 nights and the only time we saw any other staff was when we phoned down for more tea bags etc. and they were delivered within minutes. It's a decent budget hotel and we would have no hesitation in staying there again
We stayed here in August for 2 nights and was very pleased with all aspects of the Travelodge. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was slightly outdated but everything was clean and in good condition. The location is good, approximately 15 minutes walk to the Railway Station and 10 minutes to the town centre. No on-site hot meals but there is a Wetherspoons and McDonalds about 5 – 10 minutes walk away. We had great night sleep with no noise and a comfortable bed. Would defiantly stay here again.
I recently stayed here to visit and family and to go the theatre. The room was very clean and staff were very polite. Although there was some noise from outside as it was a Friday night it didn't stop me from having a brilliant nights sleep. I will definitely be booking here again for my next visit
We were taking part in the Dundee Kiltwalk event and had planned to get the train up and stay close by, unfortunately rail strikes meant we no longer could do that so we drove. Parking was easy and seemed to be a lot of spaces so that was good, just had to add our registration on the Ipad at the front desk. The room was clean and had all the items stated in the room description. The bathroom was the same clean and functional. The hotel did look like it could do with a bit of a spruce up but still clean. The hotel does say that due to city centre location there may be some noise, unfortunately that was worse than expected sounded like we were right outside a nightclub and a race track. When that was quiet then it sounded like bottled clinking from outside the door, turned out to be the maid service we think and there trolleys moving about. Bed was fairly comfortable and the room was fine for temperature with a window that could be opened if needed for some ventilation, although i think that would have made the noise a fair bit worse. Only really spoke to the check in person, so can't say much about the staff but they were friendly and passed on the information needed.…
First time staying at the dundee central, thought it might be noisy with it being next to a main road and a gym but room had secondary windows so nice and quiet. Great location, large room, comfy bed and reasonably priced. Does exactly as it says it would. Staff friendly and free parking
