Great hotel for our family break. Ideal location for main attractions, nice restaurants nearby and great hotel breakfast included. Welcoming staff and super service throughout - also enjoyed the pool very much. Free parking was much appreciated giving us flexibility to get around the area.

I love Apex hotels. They are stylish and great value for money with great service. The food could be very much better and beds are hard, so hard my arm on the side I was sleeping went numb. Oh and I don’t want to submit a 200 character review. A little tyrannical.

Staff were brilliant. Very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Excellent hotel with a great rooms that are large and have everything you would want in them. It was in an ideal location for visiting the museums, the city and nightlife of Dundee. We used it as a base and ate in some lovely restaurants in Dundee itself. The views of the quay were lovely. Although we didn't use the restaurant or pool and spa facilities, they looked great.

Thanks to Storm Arwen we were left stranded without a hotel at 9 pm on a Saturday night. We phoned the Apex Quays and after speaking to a friendly and very helpful receptionist , she reserved us a family room, with 2 double beds. Not ideal with 2 teenage boys but so much better than our alternative. I do feel a family room with a double bed and 2 singles would be a good idea for the hotel. Once we arrived we got checked in and booked our breakfast, we retired to the room for the night. The room is spacious, very clean and modern. The only issue the 4 of us had was that the pillows, although big, were very soft and thus very low and uncomfortable. None of us had a great sleep unfortunately. In the morning we went for breakfast, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was lovely, it arrived quick, was tasty and warm. The breakfast was really good, my son is lactose intolerant and this was one of the few hotels that had almond milk , which is his favourite. The four of us left the hotel warm, full and content. The only gripe we have is that at £270 for a night it was quite expensive.

Dundee is a rockin' place to visit and the Apex is perfectly situated right in the middle of it all. Free parking at the Apex was great. We walked everywhere during the the afternoon, evening and the next morning so happy to do our part being green. Super friendly staff, a really comfty room and a view of the sunset from our bedroom. We highly recommend you book at the Apex.
