Staff is great and very helpful. Elizabeth at the reception was really nice and very patient with us. She happily changed our room as the room we were given had a musty smell. She gave us a great room on the first floor. Room size good with just the basic stuff. Standard size bathroom with a powerful shower which was really good. The bed was quite comfortable and the place was quiet so we had a restful night. Wish there was a charging socket at bedside. There were a few minor issues such as water was collecting in the bathtub during the shower, someone’s used Radox was still hanging in the shower rail, and our bed was not made on the second day. But overall, a good place for an overnight stay.
Four night break and couldn't fault from start to finish. Quick check in on arrival from friendly and welcoming staff. Room 14 was ideal and though facing busy carriageway was sufficiently quiet. Spacious room with powerful shower and bath. Thanks to the staff for indicating walks nearby for accompanying westie and for putting up with our frequent late morning walks.old dog syndrome..both of us! Certainly visit again. Thanks especially to Leonie.

I stayed at ibis Budget Dundee Camperdown for two nights, just myself and my dog, for a wee break away. We received a lovely warm welcome from the receptionist, Elizabeth, as soon as I opened the door. She explained all that any guest would need to know and gave clear directions to my room. The room was a perfect size, extremely clean and with all the facilities you would expect. The carpets in the room were a wee bit tatty and faded, but for a budget hotel, you can’t expect luxury and they were still very clean. I have family in Dundee, so I know the area, but I would have had no reservations asking the reception team for directions, or for anything at all that I might need. Elizabeth always made a big fuss of my greyhound, which made her feel so at home- she loved it! Fantastic area for dogs, with Camperdown Park more or less directly behind the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone. Friendly, clean, comfortable and with great connections to the wider area. What’s not to like?…
Very Clean rooms, stairs/foyer. As it says Budget so.. very basic. Nice staff. A bit out the beating track for non car drivers. No restaurant/bar, but there's a subway directly opposite (If you like that sort of thing). Wi-Fi was a bit patchy as was the tv channels on some stations.
