We had a 1 night stay for dinner, bed and breakfast stay. On arrival we were checked in quickly, even though there were a few people arriving at the same time to check in. Check in/reception staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was a good size and offered everything you'd expect for an overnight stay. Comfortable bed (albeit the pillows were super soft), good storage space and a bath - not just a shower. The heating seemed a little temperamental, going from roasting to freezing rather than a regular temperature. The radiator also made loud noises as it heated back up. Our evening meal was really good and the restaurant staff were also really efficient and very friendly. The hotel is set in nice grounds which are quiet and peaceful. The leisure facilities were all open but our stay wasn't long enough to make use of them. Overall I would have no issue staying at The Landmark again.

Great staff, enjoyable stay. A bit sad as you drive up to it, belies a great welcome and friendly staff. Inside is definitely better than the outside, which could do with a wee kick of paint. Dinner was fine, very good steak. Although not the finest choice of cuisine and at buffet breakfast missed tattie scones. Small moans, really. If you are looking for a place to rest your weary head and have a relaxing spa you could do a lot worse than here. If I’m having to stay in Dundee I would come back here.

We arrived at 8.10 and when asked what time the restaurant closed she said 8pm. However she said if we went through she was sure they would accommodate. Staff in restaurant were great, made us feel very welcome even though they had closed. The food we had was super hot, fresh and very tasty. We shared cheese and biscuits. After some terrible service over the past few weeks it was lovely to see people actually wanting to treat customers with respect and welcome they deserve. Room was quite basics but had everything we needed. Clean and warm.

We booked direct with the hotel through email months in advance. No deposit was asked for, offered their best room rates with breakfast and evening meals inculded. Option of room upgrade ,which we took for an extra £60. On arrival the receptionist knew of our conversations and our room was a junior suite. Amazing stay, one we will always remember. The staff were amazing ,from the always smiling receptionist, the attentive restaurant/breakfast crew, spa staff to the housekeepers . Everyone carried out their role with a smile and kind words. Yes there were a few trainees, who lost their way a little . Senoir staff soon guided any situation. I'm sure that under their wing they will soon be at the same high standard . We tried most items between us on the menu , not one of them disappointed. All had great flavour ,well presented. Pool area was also a lovely place to go. Staff were welcoming and helpful. I would strongly advice the room upgrade, the suite was truly amazing. Going DBB is a must at this hotel to really appreciate the whole experience. Well done to all the staff ( can only remember Darren's name, sorry ) you truly make the hotel great and thank you for making our 25th anniversary so lovely .
