Me and my partner, stayed here now a few times, highly recommend the superior suite, massive bed, beautiful walk in shower, spotless, modern classy room. Breakfast nice, located within easy walking distance of shops and bars. Only negative opinion I have is parking facilities on site, tiny parking spaces for the size of the hotel, a near by car park down the road from the hotel, but not ideal,

We enjoyed a one night stay at this lovely hotel. It has been converted from an old Jute Mill and is in ' Industrial chic' style - i.e - trendy ! A lovely welcome from the girls in reception and we were quickly checked in. Up in the lift to the 5th floor where we had a suite with a fantastic view over the Tay Bridge. The suite was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was a mini fridge with complimentary water, Tunnocks wafers and some crisps, as well as coffee ( pods ) and tea. Bathroom was spacious with a standalone bath and a walk in shower. Lovely soft towels and ( only one ) bathrobe, although I'm sure would have got another one if requested. There was no street noise. Very tasty breakfast in the morning, and check out a breeze. We will love to stay again on our next break to Dundee.

A beautiful building, well adapted to being a boutique hotel. The check-in process was a breeze and the staff were friendly. The exposed brick and vaulted ceiling in the room is an amazing feature and the whole design of the hotel is both beautiul and modern whilst also being sympathetic to its origins as a textile factory. The linen felt good quality, the bed was plush and the shower facility was fantastic. I would like to heap particular praise on the addition of the red stool in the bathroom which provides the perfect viewing platform when the wife was in the shower - a design aspect we would love to introduce into our own home. Win. Further win for the water bottles in the room (as well as tea, coffee, biscuits, iron, ironing board, hair dryer - this room is well stocked!) and the convenience of the pantry in the lobby for other essentials is another big plus. The location is slightly too far from the station to lug suitcases but walkable without in about 20/25 minutes. There is a real lack of taxis in Dundee at present however the desk was always happy to help assist and the taxi rank out front had availability surprisingly often. Recommend staying for breakfast. The set price includes unlimited continental as well as cooked breakfast, coffee, tea, juices and fruits. The range of food was impressive and the quality of food for breakfast (and dinner too) was outstanding. Best place to stay in Dundee? Quite possibly.

Had a lovely 2 days at this hotel & would recommend it. The staff were friendly & helpful, especially Louis, at breakfast she advised us on restaurants & places to see in Dundee. We were upgraded to a superior room (217) which was lovely & large with duel aspect window & high ceilings, like you would expect from an old converted mill, although noisy with traffic & air con (even after turned off). The bathroom was modern with 2 good pressure water heads (rain & usual) & nice toiletries, there was also a fridge with 2 free small bottles of water. We had dinner the first night in the hotel, soup, chef special chilli, steak & ST pudding, all were very nice, as was the service. Cooked breakfast was lovely, with the usual cold options, most of the cold options were in boxes or containers, ie small bottles of milk, small cartons of orange juice, even the bread was in a 2 slice package, not very environmentally friendly, but could be because of covid. Main negative was the parking, the small courtyard £12.50 per night if you are able to get a space (shares with the staybridge suites) There is a council car park, about 5 mins walk away, which is free from 6pm to 8am, or take the chance on the double or single yellow lines if you are out early.

Historic building but with modern, stylish decor. Well-equipped rooms with a great bed and Arran Aromatic toiletries. Friendly and welcoming staff, efficient check-in and check-out. Excellent breakfast. Off-site parking not a big issue, just minutes away. Easy walk to waterfront and city attractions. No hesitation in booking again!
