Travelers' Choice
Welcome to the city that inspired Gulliver's Travels. A stay at Premier Inn Hotel Belfast Alfred Street puts you just a small step away from some big attractions, not to mention all the delights of a twenty-first century shopping centre. And if you're here on business, we'll make sure your stay is a pleasant one. Track down the Titanic story to its source. Or make tracks to some of the biggest names on the high street - don't miss the continental market if you're here over Christmas. There's nightlife that'll make your day, and everything from an interactive science museum to a candy factory. Don't fill up on too many sweets though, there's good food waiting for you at our restaurant, and comfy beds in every room.

We stayed at this hotel so we would be close to the city centre as my wife is disabled, we booked months in advance for a meal deal on the first night of our stay, As requested the week before we confirmed what time we would like are table for , We received no response to this , when we arrived at the hotel we were told that the restaurant was closed, The staff member did not seem to care about this issue or any other concerns we had ,we did struggle to get a reservation elsewhere for food within a reasonable distance, The room was clean and comfortable but we had to request more bath towels as one towel for two people is not enough, We were told by another member of staff to pick them up when we returned as no one was available to take them to the room, When we returned from our night out we decided to have a drink in the hotel bar, We were served by a nice Indian person who was friendly and courteous, Then 10 minutes later we were told that the bar was closing in 10 minutes that was 11pm strange for a hotel bar and for hotel residents, we ordered another drink this time it was the same person that was on reception when we checked in, Unfortunately manners seem to have eluded this person as no please or thank you was forthcoming, Next day we had breakfast as part of the meal deal it was ok mostly self service unless you wanted poached eggs ect , we had to actually ask for service to get eggs as no one came to take our order, Upon checking out the people waiting to check out were greeted with what are you all waiting on and I’m feed up taking bags to be stored, This was a reception member of staff again manners seem to have eluded this person also , I requested a proof of refund receipt for the meals we did not get and was told that I could not have one but I’d get my money back, After 10 days I emailed the hotel and the person who informed me of this and am still waiting on a reply, Contacted Premier inn head office and again still no response, After 26 days we finally received are refund after threatening legal action, Would definitely never stay in this Hotel or any Premier inn hotel in the future.

We recently spent 7 nights here & it was a very enjoyable stay. We slept in a newly decorated room on the 4th floor that had a good view & a huge walkin shower. Staff were friendly, helpful & professional. Special thanks go to Bonita & Leonie(I hope I got your names right!). For this type of hotel, the Premier Inn in Alfred St will always be my 1st choice when staying in Belfast.

Stayed here with my wife on our Ireland experience, visited the Titanic Museum, SSE Arena, Bus Tour, list is endless. Superb location, 5 minute walk to Charlotte Street Car park, if you've got a car, this is the best value for money car park, £7.50 for 24hrs. Room is tidy, clean and well laid out, everything you expect from a Premier Inn. We had to get an extra bath towel, but Shaureen was ever present to assist us, poor lass must live here, as she's been here everyday of our visit, always greets with a big smile and cannot do enough for you to make your stay the best it can be. All the staff are pleasant and helpful but she shone like a bright star above everyone. Didn't really eat at the Hotel, as you're only 10 minutes from the town centre and a vast quantity of exceptional restaurants and cafes. Belfast is certainly a lovely City and we intend to visit again later this year with our daughter and her boyfriend.

I stayed here with a colleague whilst on business and can highly recommend the Premier Plus rooms. The location is perfect in central Belfast and the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Leanne was our waitress on the evening we stayed and she is an absolute asset to this business. Leanne has a fabulously infectious personality and nothing was too much trouble. When visiting Belfast again, I will definitely be staying here again. I would highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure.

Restaurant was shut at short notice and without warning on both nights of my stay. Otherwise the normal standard and service you'd expect from Premier Inn. Price high, presumably as City Centre of Belfast.

I have stayed here before and stayed for another 3 nights in Feb 2024. As a brand, you know what you are getting with Premier Inn and this one is no different. My room was clean and had everything I need. It also has a nice walk in shower, which was a bonus. My room had plenty of sockets, including USB and sockets next to the bed. The hotel has its own bar, which did get busy and it was difficult to find a seat, but that was not really a big issue. The selling point for me with this hotel is the price and location. It is approx 0.3mile to City hall and 0.5mile to Lanyon Place Train Station (We caught the train to Dublin for a day trip). This was the 3rd time I have stayed here and I would definitely stay here again.

On entering the premier plus room it was very cold which we brought to the attention of reception. Both Bonita and Ian were extremely helpful and professional. Their approach in dealing with the matter swiftly will be the main reason we will return.
