Good budget hotel with spacious rooms and free parking. The WiFi is also very fast and it was free. The cleaners were very friendly when I arrived and helped me with bus information. The only thing that stuck out as a negative was the noisy radiator which I mentioned to staff straight away to fix but it wasn't and did wake me up. I see on here this issue has been mentioned previously so I do hope they will fix this problem. Would still return as the location was really good to the city hospital (just a few mins walk) and it is also near Queens University and the Ulster Museum. There are nearby convenience stores and buses to go to main city centre too.
Very nice comfortable & clean. Only stayed overnight but will definitely be back. The cafe a few doors down that they recommend for breakfast The Mad Hatter was excellent too, they did the perfect Irish breakfast.
Had a fantastic stay, it’s just a fantastic boutique style hotel and they are so accommodating. I will 100% be back. They have a very secure late check-in service and the communication is just great.
Not worth the money. Noisy radiators kept me up at night. Room made up every 3 days just, not what I’d expect from a supposedly upmarket hotel. Lack of 24hr reception makes problem solving difficult. At least the location was quoted good though. My advice to anyone… Avoid…
Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful building with lots of original features. Close to bus route into city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely. Very clean and comfy bed. Will definitely book here next time we are in Belfast.
Hi everyone! I would like to go all in on this review, should really make a 6 th star for this place. We had an amazing experience from quality of their services, view, feel of the room and atmosphere around the place. Hotel is amazingly decorated by the owners with fine antiques, rare books and a fine taste for hospitality. From their cleaners to their manager and themselves I have been travelling for business purposes all over Ireland and Ni but for quality like this I payed a minimum of 150 to 250 a nite that is in my professional opinion as a culinary director what this beautifull place is worth it. Well done David Warren and Ms. Kindest Regards Vlad Ciprian Onofrei Culinary Director
We were expecting to be staying in a busy and bustling Bed & Breakfast but occupancy was so low on the first night, presumably due to factors relating to the impact of Covid-19, that it would probably have been easy for the owners to cancel our reservation. Thank you for honouring our booking, being so welcoming and offering us the opportunity to stay in the best available room. Our room was spacious, well equipped and had a spotlessly clean en suite. The Gregory is ideally situated for exploration of Belfast on foot and within easy walking distance of a number of good quality restaurants. Thank you for a comfortable stay and we hope you return to the thriving business you deserve to be in the very near future.
I had a brilliant stay at the Gregory. I had a beautiful three bed room, the bedroom was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We had everything in the room we could ever need. The ensuite facilities are also super. Checking in was very easy and we had no trouble at all. We used the downstairs drawing room for chilling out in, which is a great option to have. The staff were all so lovely, especially Hannah!!!! Couldn't recommend more. Emma
Really enjoyed my stay here. I was part of a hen party group staying across 5 rooms and the staff made us feel very welcome. They had left a few bottles of prosecco as they knew we were celebrating! Rooms were beautifully decorated, really in keeping with the overall feel of the building. There are some spaces at the back of the building for parking but also lots of off free on street parking just outside. Bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. The only time I stirred was when people heading home from the bars in Belfast walked down our street at about 2am (we stayed on a Saturday night and our room overlooked the street) so maybe consider asking for a room at the back if you think this would bother you. We were due to get breakfast in the morning but found out a few days prior that this was no longer available, which was disappointing. It's in a good location for cafes/restaurants - 10min walk to the Lisburn Road, 15min to Botanic Avenue (with a lovely walk through Queens Uni) and about 30min walk to the city centre.…
Family run very friendly hotel excellent location high standard of cleanness & comfort which is so important in this current climate Would recommend a stay there, we stayed three nights and will certainly return 👍🏻😊
