This is the second time I've stayed at Roseleigh House, and it didn't disappoint. An incredibly comfortable bed, a very well equipped and furnished bedroom and fantastic breakfasts. A convenient location in a pleasant quiet street away from the bustle of the city centre but with good public transport routes and quite close to useful shops and restaurants. But what makes this place extra special is the warm and welcoming environment which is created by the owner.
Had a wonderful stay - lovely property in a great location. Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful, providing much local information. Rooms were well appointed and very clean. Breakfast was superb.
We had a lovely time. We slept warm and cozy and ate a very delicious Irish breakfast. Donna gave us advice on where to go and visit. The room was clean and we had a nice view of the quiet neighborhood. It’s minutes away from the city center and the titanic museum.
A lovely stay! Room was great, on the first floor very spacious and very quiet. And the breakfast was delicious. The location was residential and peaceful, and a straight forward half hour walk from the city centre. Would recommend to those visiting Belfast.
This is a lovely place to stay and only a short taxi ride from all the main attractions. Hosts Donna and James go out of their way to ensure a perfect stay. It is spotlessly clean and the cooked breakfast is very good . Could do with fruit, yoghurt and cereals to start the breakfast experience. The room was very comfortable but the shower over the bath was disappointing and needs updating to a proper shower cubicle. However the slight negatives should not put anyone off staying here. It is the perfect place to enjoy a visit to the city. Donna was extremely helpful in offering advice on places to visit and how to get there. The car parking is an added bonus.
The hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Ideal location within walking distance to belfast city. Rooms were lovely clean and warm. Would definitely recommend this to anyone heading to Belfast for a getaway
We were lucky to book a room at very short notice at Roseleigh House. It is not very far from the city centre on the local bus route. Roseleigh House was clean, elegant and peaceful. James and Donna were happy and helpful hoasts, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast ample and delicious. My husband was very impressed with the Ulster Fry (northern Irish full breakfast) and the freshly brewed coffee. I was also delighted with my porridge with a shot of Bushmills whiskey followed by scrambled eggs and salmon and the gorgeous Irish wholemeal bread with butter and lots of tea. We would definitely recommend Roseleigh House to anyone visiting Belfast and looking for great accommodation in a leafy and tranquil neighbourhood, but not far from all the major attractions in the city centre.…
Stayed in mid October. Couldn’t rate it highly enough. Great room and en-suite. Breakfast on both mornings was as good as you could get anywhere. James was very helpful with tips for getting around the City. Plenty of good restaurants and pubs within a 5 minutes walk plus bus stop to get into City centre. Will definitely be back.
We had a terrific time at this lovely B&B. It is on a quiet back street with parking and is close to the bus stop. The hosts were fabulous and went out of their way to accommodate some issues we had. The breakfasts were delicious and the room very comfortable. Highly recommended.
We booked two rooms for two nights in this large and beautifully finished house. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Bedrooms are comfortable and the location is quiet. Service at breakfast by James was first class with Donna working hard in the kitchen to produce exactly what you wanted (and what a choice!). It is only a short walk to the main road where there are frequent busses into the city centre. We visited the Titanic exhibition and it only took 40 minus to get there across the City using the very cheap public transport system. In sum a superb B&B ideally located.
