Excellent hotel and staff. Very rarely do you find a hotel that everyone is so friendly. Meals are first class and the whole place is spotless. Can highly recommend. Special mention to Martina who was so helpful. The hotel is very close to the city centre and the bus and rail station.
Stayed here before and loved it. Staff are very friendly and always on hand to help out. Location is quite good.rooms very clean and the view we had this time was amazing. Bathrooms had an amazing shower with my favourite toiletries. Tray with different teas. Coffee with milk / sugar on the tray was nice. Room was perfect for myself and my daughter.Starbucks inside this Hotel which is amazing.
Wasn’t happy with how my move to a different hotel was communicated and I still haven’t had a response to my complaint to the reservations manager. Will not be staying in a holiday inn again. They don’t warn you about being moved to a different hotel
Reasonably priced hotel. Clean comfortable bedroom with tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was self-service with a great variety of hot choices. Receptionist was very friendly and told us the hotel was booked out. Despite this ,there was no noise. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
This is a very lovely hotel! We were here for 7 nights and all services were top notch right from the reception to house keeping department. Nice breakfast too. We will definitely use again, when next we are town.
Sorry to say our night away in this hotel was the worst night I've ever had in any hotel and I've been to a lot. Do not stay in room 101 for your own sanity....its over a service door and from 6am the doors were banging continuously. We had to turn the TV on to camouflage the sound and that didnt even work...breakfast wasnt great sadly....there was no scrambled egg left and it took a 10 minute wait for it to come. We brought all this to the receptionists attention when asked how are stay was....only to be fobbed off with a round of drinks!! Sent an email as a follow up to let the management know so no one else had to go through the same stress...took a second email to get them to reply with a "thank you for bringing this to our attention" Wont be coming back here I'm afraid.....
To whom it may concern, I booked a break away with lidl breaks for Thursday the 24th and Friday the 25th of February 2022. I chose the holiday express inn in Belfast and we were really looking forward to the break away. When we arrived at the Holiday express inn, we parked and brought in our luggage. We went to reception to check in and the receptionist said 'oh we have been closed since January 31st'. I was confused as I knew that lidl breaks allowed me to book the break for the midterm break and I had received a reminder email 72 prior to my stay? Reminding me of my upcoming stay. The receptionist said that everyone should have been contacted to say that their stay would no longer go ahead. I showed the lady my email and told her I was not contacted about this inconvenience. We had travelled 2.5 hours and at this stage we were tired. The woman went off to find out more and then said that we'd now be staying in the Hampton and hilton in Belfast. She argued again with me that I was contacted! I stated again that I was not contacted only with a reminder email about my upcoming stay in the Holiday express inn. We left feeling very hard done by and shocked at how the woman wasn't in anyway apologetic. She just kept saying that we were contacted. We arrived at the Hampton and hilton where they told us that this wasn't the first time this had happened and they had the same situation just that very day where a woman had to get a taxi across to the other hotel. It wasn't a great start to our stay and left a lot to be desired.…
A very clean and nice room and comfy bed. Views werent brilliant as our window saw directly into a persons bathroom and they often had the window completely open. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was very standard. Only thing to complain about other than the view was when our room was cleaned, our tea/coffee and handwash was not replaced despite having none left.
Stayed for two nights last weekend. I know it’s a budget hotel but: Stain on room carpet, plus two towels we had had what looked like rust stains on (asked reception for replacements but had to chase for them) Room was clean but tired looking A large number of what looked liked asylum seekers in hotel In a student area, lots of bedsits so not the best kept area Next to a building site. Work started at 9am on Saturday, no idea on a work day Plenty of secure parking though.
+ = Had an enjoyable stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Check in was pleasant and efficient. Staff were friendly. Room was well appointed. Ample parking to the rear of the hotel. Could walk to the city. - = Breakfast selection was good but the hot breakfast was only warm. There could have been more tea and coffee supplies in the room. Info on tourist attractions in the area would be a plus.
